System was easy to install. The display is very easy to read and the touch screen is easier to use than the small buttons on the other models. The various mounting options makes this system very adaptable to any vehicle.

I have a 2013 Mustang with the standard factory radio. I wanted Sirius but factory kits were over $300 and I didn’t want a plug & play unit sticking out of my dash so the Commander Touch wired into my auxiliary jack in the console seemed like a good compromise. The reception is excellent and the installation was as good as I could have expected, but programming the presets and changing stations is a major headache with this product. There is a delay of one or two seconds between entering a station button and the actual station change. A remote control would be helpful but to the best of my knowledge there isn’t one available for the Commander Touch. The display also washes out in bright sunlight. I can live with these issues for the price point, but this product could be a lot better.

I would buy again and refer to my friends and family

This regards my more recent purchase of a pioneer sku 6401083 I was informed that this would be a fit for the single din receiver on the dash panel of my motorhome’s dashboard. When I arrived at the Best Buy in Las Cruces NM I was informed by the Brandon who was to install that radio that day that he was unable to install the radio because of an issue with the accessory wire and that this was a liability concern for Best Buy should the radio be installed there. Brandon suggested that I take the vehicle to another dealer who could troubleshoot the problem with the wire. This presents a problem since I live 120 miles from this Best Buy since I would want to return there for the free installation and 60 miles from the nearest dealer. This would involve considerable travel in a vehicle that uses fuel at 8 miles/gallon. Best Buy should make an effort to remedy the issue at their store since I spent a considerable amount of money at Best Buy as well as being approved for the Best Buy credit card through Citibank. I would appreciate it greatly if Best Buy would solve this problem for me.

The touch screen on the device is cheap plastic, hard to keep clean hard to keep from getting scratched. Icons are very tiny hard to see when you are driving especially with polarized sunglasses. Otherwise sounds very good reception is good also. As far as Best Buy's install experience, purchased the device, waited over a week to come in for install at Best Buy in Downey, technician took the whole dash apart, he realized that he needed an extra part for the antenna and according to Best Buy's computer system that part can only be ordered online. So the tech began to put the dash back together minus the antenna part, as he was doing that I went on my phone and ordered the part based on the SKU number he provided, lo and behold the computer said that antenna Park was available at that store. The tech started to rummage around the rack were all the other parts were and found it buried under other items, by that time the dash had been put back together again so he had to schedule a third trip back to the installation Department, after the third trip the part was installed and we left happily ever after right?? Not exactly there was a wire that was incorrectly attached so we had to schedule a fourth trip, again the tech had to take the dash apart reconnect the Rogue wire and finally after four trips to the store the device was installed correctly. By the way the tech was a great guy with a great personality, some things we're out of his hands and others were not.

Love my new satellite radio. Love that it is touch screen. Was a very affordable price. A little bit of a small screen but works great!

Small and easy to use. But, do not let the installer put the antenna in the front window or inside the vehicle. Have the installer put it on the trunk or the roof area of the vehicle. I had to have mine changed to outside because it effected reception.

It's my third Commander, it's a good receiver and the screen is great. I like the touch screen feature and it's small and works well with my car dash. The installation service wasn't so great, not an experienced guy and the place to install wasn't the best.

I got this receiver right after I rented a rental car. I instantly fell in love. It's so easy to use.

Purchased for my wife Christmas gift, bestbuy did a excellent job of installing in vehicle. The small receiver and the operation of the unit are pluses, would buy again.

Sounds great. The display is easy to use. Touch screen. And it picks up all the high number channels most other doesn't. Good quality sound going into my vehicle AUX jsck.

The idea of having a dashboard mounted display for a SiriusXM radio was compelling. I could have added this to my car, but after considering the hassle of getting behind the dash and connecting into the radio wiring harness, I decided to go with a portable radio with a vehicle kit. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the Commander Touch radio, so I would recommend it. You might also consider having it professionally installed.

Overall this radio works great. Some of the other reviewers complain that it has slow response to touch commands but after you get used to how the radio responds it's not really a big deal. There is a little lag when you swipe but really doesn't take away from the overall use of the radio. There is a little glare on the screen in bright light but again for what you get I can deal with that. This radio control unit is small and integrates well into your dashboard. The radio itself is installed under the dash. I was shocked when I found out my almost new truck (2 years old bought used) didn't have satellite radio. I called the dealership and was told it would cost almost $1000 to upgrade. For $75 plus the cost of Best Buy install I got this. It's mounted in an open space near my radio and doesn't take away from the look of the dash. With this I also didn't loose any of the features of the infotainment system that came in the truck. If I were to put in an aftermarket system I would have lost use of the integrated backup cameras, remote start and the display for the environmental controls. This was a great solution. Looks good, sounds great and most importantly I have my satellite radio.

Small size, big performance. I use the Aux input on my car radio and this unit works perfectly. Clear, full color display with 16 favorite channels to make it simple to use.

this is a great product love the touch screen aspect of it and that it is small and compact would highly recomend to anyone who has Sirius radio

So i have had the normal satellite radios for years, that hang off your dash with the cords everywhere, and occasionally falling off. First I wanted to get a new receiver that had satellite radio, but after finding out what all the new wiring would cost I changed up to just going with this unit. Completely awesome! Nice flush mount, no wires hanging out, nice full color display. Geek squad installation was including, which I would highly suggest with this unit needing to be hard wired into your car and not just plugged in.

Finally have Sirius-XM in the car without getting behind the dash... sound is great and size is perfectly compact. Very happy with this item.
