    My truck didn't come with XM radio, so I've had a time getting in installed! You see, my truck has an aluminum body and the magnet on the xm sattellite doesn't stick very well. So, I had to improvise heavily.

    I just bought a motor home that didn't have satellite so I broke out my old dash mounted unit. The stock radio doesn't havea 3mm plug so I had to use the FM modulator. All I got was static and had to change the station all the time. I bought the adaptor pluged it in and it works perfect. I tuned it to 90.1 and that's it. No more changing stations for me.
