Before I bought the home kit to use with my Stratus 7, I used the SiriusXM app to stream music. It was slow and the sound quality was horrible. The home dock has better sound quality and is easy to use. Depending on what part of the country you live in you need to aim your antenna one way or another. Check out the SiriusXM website for more information. I would like to have seen a better remote. It has to be aimed just so to work. Overall, a great option to add satellite radio to your home.

I have used the Home Kit with both of my radios and it was very easy even though they are different models and generations. If there is a down side it is the small size and light weight design, making it rather unstable. The modest antenna cable, power supply and audio cord dictate where and at what angle the unit sits at.

Works great for hooking up your satellite radio to your in-home stereo. Why just listen in the car? Pop it out and listen at home. Yes, it's that simple!

It has everything you need to get your satellite radio receiver up and running. I hooked mine up to my existing boom box and it works perfectly.

Very satisfied. I have had a Sirius XM radio in my car for four years but always wished I also had it in my house. Sirius made me an offer on additional radios that I couldn't refuse. I have purchased a car kit for my wife's car (which Best Buy installed ) and two home kits and two additional radios. I now have my favorite commercial free radio stations wherever I go. My next purchase will be the portable speaker for my radios. Although i have portable Bose speakers, I beleive the Sirius speaker will be more compatable. Thank you Sirius XM and Best Buy.

We bought this kit to compliment our Sirius XM Onyx receiver. I connected it to our home intercom and now we enjoy music throughout the house. My only complaint is the antenna cord. It was nowhere near long enough to reach a south facing window. I had to order an extension cord from Sirius. That being said it is an otherwise well equipped kit and well worth consideration.

The SiriusXM HomeKit was easy to install, is compatible with a variety of different speakers, and maintains quality when moved throughout the house. I did have a minor issue with the dock sitting on top of my Nintendo Wii U- the signal became weak and intermittent...but a quick repositioning resolved the Signal issue. Overall an above average product.

Had an old XM unit that finally stopped working after many years. Needed a new receiver for home use. Only product available in store was one that included the auto kit as well, with unnecessary additional components. A cheaper unit was available online from XM, but it would have taken an extra week to arrive.

Sirius Radio came with Vehicle kit but that did not include a remote control. By adding the Home kit, I get a remote I can use in the car and then can also bring the Sirius receiver into the house and play through A/V receiver. Must be careful due to very thin wires!

Fitted it to my BMW. Factory kit costs over $1000 yet this is under $400 installed by the Geeks in 2 hours. Reception is good.Just wish the remote that comes with the home kit could control volume somehow.

If you are looking for a way to bring your SirusXM into your house without paying evtra for the internet services this is an excellent way to do it! Easy to set up and sounds amazing

I had one kit for my XM at home and needed another one for my office. Makes it easy to hear my XM music pretty much anywhere i go.

Works great. You do not need to put the antenna near a window. I have a docking station home and office. Easy installation and plugs right into aux input to my surround sound.

This has allowed me to use my onyx in my home as well as my car. Just put the antennae near a window that has unobstructed view and your done.

Great system easy setup and clear sound no interface even though it is set up right under my tv and above my blu-ray player

This was a great purchase to supplement the SiriusXM Radio Subscription I have in my car. Definitely a convenient addition to my subscription. It is a compact unit and delivers good reception. The quality of the sound is, of course, dependent upon the quality of your sound system. Best Buy had the unit on sale at just the right time for me.

I have used this in many actions I carry it with me in a bag so when I get out of my car I have it to use in the house or on travel.

Hooked up to take place of speaker dock which quit working. At about 1/3rd the cost. Hooked to sound bar for TV and get great sound.

I have purchased this product for my boat, dune buggy and an older pickup truck. Great product works well
