It would not pick up any signal. I also tried it in a bedroom (which was not the purpose of the purchase), and it only picked up a signal if it were placed in an open window. I wasn't interested in getting an outdoor antenna, so it is going to be returned because it didn't do what I needed.

Posted .Sorry you had that experience, SiriusXM does offer family subscription plans so you can add an additional radio to you account and there is a discount for second or more radios added.
