At home now in Prescott ON we have it in a south facing window and it will only work if the window is open. Sirius XM customer service is absolutely useless at providing any kind of practical support to get the signal working for us.

Posted .Sounds like the windows in the Prescott ON home has some metal film or metal properties that are blocking the signal. Try using the "Antenna Aiming" menu option to see if you can find a location or muting angle that gives you the most signal bars to see if this improves
