Great radio that was simple to install and set up.

This is the third reciever I've owned in 11 years. The display is great, no glare problems as in previous models. The car version does not come with a remote anymore, otherwise would have given it 5 stars.

This item is awesome! I didn't have satellite radio, nor the money to get a whole new radio in my car. This item solved both problems. For a couple of hundred dollars, counting installation, I now have satellite radio with all the channels. Got Sirius radio free for 6 months, and do not know how I drove around without it. I cannot say enough great things about this receiver. Get it, you will not regret it!!!

This radio is perfect if you have to sit at a desk all day. It will record up to 9 presets (about 40 minutes per channel I think) so when you get bored with one channel change to another one and start at the beginning of the recording. The album art is a nice feature that I haven't seen on many car radios yet.

My old XM receiver died after several years of good service and I needed to replace it. I wanted a portable unit because I have 2 places I use it. I found this one on the Best Buy website and thought it would suit my needs. It sounds a little harsh when first turned on but gets better after being on for a few minutes. This is not my daily source of music so it doesn't get used very often. It is simple to move from one location to another. It is easy to operate and, in fact, has more features than I need. I only gave it 4 stars because of the harsh sound at start-up.

it took 5 minutes for my daughter to install and most of that was to set my channels. sound is terrific and could not be any better if a professional did it

Sound quality is very good through aux jack in my car and through a fm station in my truck. The powerconnect plays through an fm station so no additional hardware is needed. I actually have the antenna on my dash and it works fine, though not recommended as per instructions, allows me to move unit easily between vehicles. Signal strength normally at 3 to 4 bars. I’m sure there is tape out there to secure the wires to the dashboard, haven’t used any yet. 20 presets allows the ability to get to most stations pretty quickly. Color display is good, though smaller than what I expected.

I like the color display, it is very easy to use and looks good. SXM is a great service. Have been a member since it started as XM. It is good you can take the control head with you also.

Picked this one because it had 20 presets which met my needs. Pretty easy to use even the pause and rewind. The preset buttons are a bit small for my fingers. Reception is very good and the screen is easy to read.

I received this satellite receiver as a gift a couple of weeks ago. I was a little leary about setting it up because I'm not too technically inclined, but it was surprisingly easy to understand and connect, and I had it up and running in just a few minutes. I travel a lot and have been using it almost non-stop for several weeks and it is amazing! If I can figure it out, anyone can. The only downside is that the user manual is online only and its a little tricky to use it in the car where the receiver is and when I'd like to refer to it for finding new channels, etc. But overall, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who loves Sirius satellite service.

Great little radio to add Sirius XM when your new car doesn't have the option. Easy to install, great sound my only downside would be I wish the antenna was stronger.

I went in to get a car kit for a receiver I had in another car and for just a few dollars more I got this unit which included the car kit. It had several new features my other unit didn't have and I love the color screen and the album art for whatever is playing. I really like this unit a lot

I have enjoyed my radio, i haven't had any problems. The xm radio is good because there are hundreds of radio stations to listen to. I love this satellite radio you can actually pause and rewind a song that you like Great radio, easily moves between car and house.

Traded in a vehicle with factory installed SiriusXM for a vehicle that isn't satellite ready. Was initially dismayed with the Onyx due to the exposed wires draped across my dash, but I managed to position it on my console where very little of the wiring is exposed and I can reach it without diverting attention from driving. The tiny unit has remarkable user friendly functionality. I can either shuffle between stations in search of a song or it will automatically switch stations, playing songs it somehow calculates I like. It's usually right. It also has a setting which displays an alert whenever a favorite artist or song is played. Haven't figured out how to route audio though my FM radio yet. Right now I'm content to simply patch the audio via my auxiliary jack. The audio, by the way, is crystal clear despite me mounting the antenna on the side of my vehicle instead of the recommended rooftop placement. I really enjoy using it.

Easy setup with SiriusXM. Excellent reception. Easy programming favorite channels.
