    Ubisoft made us wait a little over eight years for this game , now that its out i feel like its missing a couple of core elements to the pirate lore , but overall I’m ireally enjoying the game so far .

    Great game, it has an adventurous story line and graphics are above par. Definitely worth it, even got my wife onto it. Such a great gane, can't stop playing.

    I was expecting this game to be better. After having the game for a week I am very disappointed so far. The sailing is fine, but the inability to stop the ship, jump off, and dive like in Black Flag is disappointing. This is an open sea game, but not an open world.

    I was waiting for this game for years. There was a lot of hype and I really like the idea of it but now that I'm playing it I have to say that it's not very fun. It's just the same boring thing over and over again. It really feels like the game is unfinished, that the game world is kind of empty and that it desperately needs more content and creativity woven to the actual story, of which there is really none, and the quests, of which there are very few. It really needed more content which I hope they don't try to sell us as DLC because I won't be buying it. The base game should have been more than this and even on sale, I can't recommend it because we live in a world of some really great games. What a bummer. I really was hoping for more here.

    This game could have been something special if it only followed the AC Black flag formula and improved upon it. Unfortunately thwy missed an opportunity to make a game of the year.
