    Good Sound but Mediocre Connection

These sound pretty good considering their low cost. However, I've had some issues with the connection...it's one of those things where you have to play with it and sort of pull it partially out of the input jack in order to have both speakers play correctly. I would spend the extra $$$ and buy a higher quality product.

I had them about a week and the cuts that plugs in to things was so sensitive and not letting the head phones play.

Sound is great for a cheap earbud however, the right earpiece lost connection within weeks after purchasing.

They need to work on the connection to the jack. After only a few months the wire loses connection and loses sound in one ear... Happens I multiple headphones by skullcandy

Since headphones break easily at wire connections, paying extra for something that may last only few months is challenging. I wish the connections were designed differently - the earbuds and everything else stays just fine. Good sound isolation - I even use them when I drive on busy highways to cut down on unnecessary noise

Listening to my music is great with these headphones they have a good sound quality. I just wish that they would have lasted longer than a few months. The connection on the bottom wire went bad and now I only have one working ear bud left.

I've used Skullcandy earbuds for many years. The Ink'd line has good consistent quality. After several months the connection will get loose and sound will cut out of be spotty, but I'm a daily user and can pull/tug on the cords a lot, so it's probably due to me.

I love the skull candy earbuds - but my problem is they don't take the daily use over a long period of time. In other words, the wiring wears and it doesn't make a good connection. You end up throwing them out.

Best sound quality for the price. Anything in a lower price range that I've found has been garbage. Like all of my ear buds the first thing to break is the connection near the jack.

bought for attachment for phone during runs and other exercise activities. Will not remain secure in ears even after replacing buds. Also would have interference w/radio signal via phone connection. (shorting out)

I purchased these as a backup to my Apple ear buds which were cutting out whenever I moved. Not handy for exercise. I realized after I bought these that the problem is in the connection to my IPhone. The quality of sound on my Apple buds is noticeably better, but in the end it is a mute point if the connection is bad. SkullCandy not bad for the price.

I have had 3 pairs of these . I like them because I have very small ears and they are the only ones I can tolerate . However - they do 2 really horrible things. First , there is a known issue with the input connection / iphone where it causes your music and Siri to start up for no reason . Super annoying ... Second, they break very easily - one side or both have just stopped working after 3-6 months. If they weren't fairly cheap I would be more annoyed , but you really get what you pay for with these... I kept my reciept this time.

I wear and use earbuds every day and I leave a wreckage of broken earbuds after two months or so without fail. When I must buy a replacement set, Skullcandy do an admirable job especially for my iPod nano which has a touchscreen so the mic button is of great comfort. The problem almost always centers right at the cord's connection to the jack. Something gets loose and suddenly I only have one channel coming in. At $20 a go, it's not an unremarkable expense, but someone like me who is chained to his iPod daily, it's a necessary cost. If someone knows of a better earbud that doesn't wear out after 2 months or so of daily use, let me know. Until then, I grind on.

I've been rocking skull candys for a long time and was a strong supporter of theirs. But lately the pairs I've been getting are garbage. I had the titans and the 50/50. Those were awesome and lasted me a long time. But I picked these up for rides on my motorcycle since I like the noise cancelling t provides over wind noise. And the connection was horrible. They were cutting out day one and I had the cord covered behind my vest and the terminal wasn't pinched. Skull candy has really gone down in their quality. I think it's time I hang up the hat and move on to another company. Can't say much for their higher end like, but I got their wireless xtfree when they first came out and they were just ok. Not nearly as loud as wired earbuds. In any case, very displeased with this purchase.
