    Fantastic headphones for the price

I have LOVED these headphones. They’re a fantastic option for those not wanting to spend $80+ on a good pair of headphones. Sure, you could find better. But probably not for this price. One of my favorite features is actually the ear buds themselves. Because of their shape, they mold into my ears perfectly. They’re super comfortable, and bonus: don’t budge! I hate it when my earbuds fall out, and I have not had an issue with these! I’m never going back to “normal” earbuds ever again. The comfort difference is very noticeable. They also provide good noise canceling. If I don’t have any sound running through them, I can still softly hear the people talking around me. But once you get the music going, that’s mostly all you can hear. Unless someone beside you is being really loud, I guess. But honestly- when I have my earphones in I don’t want to cancel out all chances of hearing things around me. It’s dangerous to cut yourself off from the world completely. Letting a little noise through is a good thing. And I feel like these hit that balance pretty well. (Though I would not recommend wearing both buds while driving. They work too well for that! You won’t be able to hear any traffic.) The only downside to these headphones (and skullcandy in general) is that you can very easily listen to them TOO loud. They have some serious volume power. So you could damage your hearing if you aren’t aware. This is easily remedied by going into your phone settings and limiting how high the sound level can go when you have earphones connected. (So you don’t accidently pump it up too high.) I have my iPhone set to only allow 50-60% volume when they’re connected. And it’s perfect. Loud enough to get the bass and deeper tones, but not loud enough I’m worried about my ears. I think you have to be aware of these things with earphones in general. So this isn’t a bad reflection on Skullcandy at all. Battery life has been good. I can listen all day without having to charge them. Though I haven’t timed it exactly. And they charge quickly from what I’ve seen. Last observation- At first I wasn’t a huge fan of having the plastic “U” around my neck, I thought I’d like the regular blue tooth version better- with a single wire connecting the two buds, but I appreciate the feature now. It allows me to quickly take out one or both earbuds without my earphones hanging there awkwardly or falling out. And I can wear them when I’m out and about, ready to use, without having to store then get out my earphones over and over. It’s nice, and I forget I’m even wearing it after a while. The plastic is flexible enough that it doesn’t dig into my neck at all. Overall, highly recommend!

This is my first set of wireless headphones. I was looking at LG as well as J birds. I'm a review freak, and I scanned reviews for DAYS. I went into best buy to get the Dr. Dre Beats, but I did not care for the over the ear piece. I read some reviews that it hurt after a while, and I was afraid it would bother me, not to mention the fact it's easier to just put take an earbud in and out. Pros: 1. Inexpensive! Some of these things cost over $150. Can someone explain this to me before my time to return runs out? 2. I like the band around the neck. It doesn't bother me at all. This allows me to have just one ear bud in, and let the other one dangle while I'm at work. I do NOT find the band too tight, and I have a normal size neck for a female(at least I think so). 3. Good sound. I've answered calls and there was no feedback, and the person on the other end said I sounded very clear. 4. You are able to pause or restart a song. I still need to read the directions thoroughly, but I like this feature. 5. Charge life. So far I just charge them everyday, and have been able to use them for the entire day at work. 6. It is so nice to not have to plug into my iPhone. No more dropping my phone or getting all twisted up so that my earbuds rip out. Cons: 1. I wish the range was further, but I think for the price, it's worth the compromise. It's only an issue at work or if I'm cleaning the house. If I'm working out, my phone is within the range or in a pocket. I'm not sure how long these will last, but I'm happy so far. My friend who has the more expensive Jaybirds says she has to replace them once a year, and has the Best Buy warranty with them, so they just give her another pair.

I really wanted to like these. I had a pair about 6 months ago and they fit well, sounded great and lived up to the hype. Unfortunately, after about 3 months, they started buzzing and finally wouldn't charge or turn on at all. I went back to using my apple corded ear buds for several months at the gym thinking I would get another pair. Fast forward to about a month ago. I was in Best Buy to pick up a new home theatre receiver and bit the bullet and purchased a second pair. This pair literally lasted a week. They just shut off and wouldn't charge at all. I was busy at work and missed the Best Buy 14 day return window by about 3 days. Thankfully, the customer service rep let me grab another pair. This time I paid for the 2 year extended warranty. This 3rd pair lasted about two workouts which totaled about 2 hours. Back to Best Buy I went.. returned them and grabbed another pair. The 4th pair faired a little better as I got about a week of use out of them until DEAD. Fed up with this product, I returned them for some Beats By Dre. Way more expensive, but my time is valuable and even though I had the protection plan, driving back and forth so I could grab another set of headphones got to be ridiculous. So the bottom line is I went through 4 pairs of these headphones and they all failed waaaaaay before they should have. Save yourself time, energy and money and find another product.

when it comes to bluetooth headphones, there are such a vast array of options, one might find it overwhelming. I primarily use my bluetooth headsets for use during athletic activity, often ranging from playing sports and lifting weights on the one side, to yoga on the other. not only does this particular pair of headphones sit comfortably around your neck, it also does an excellent job of staying firmly lodged in your inner ear. I believe that I paid somewhere in the range of 60$ for this item. for that amount of money, which is far less than other headsets I've purchased over the years, it does a wonderful job of producing enough volume and sound, clearly separating the tonalities and melodies present in modern music. another note to tac on to the end of this review would be this: the battery life, while even pushed to maximum volume, the shortest amount of time I've used it for without charging is right around six hours. the bluetooth connection is rapid, solid and steady. also, this version method wireless' bluetooth headsets is above and beyond the status quo. I also own a pair of the XT FREE headphones, which is the sweat proof model they make. the maximum battery life on that pair, I'm guessing due to the sweat/water proof design, is two hours. for me, its a no-brainer. method wireless from skull candy is simply the way to go.. utilizing the cost/sound/efficiency measurements and metrics described heretofore. highly recommended for athletes looking to eliminate those pesky cords while performing high intensity workouts and playing sessions, everyday music and movie listeners/watchers, as well as speaking on the phone. a quick caveat to add at this time: the microphone is located in the left branch of the neck-wrap, and it does a wonderful job of picking up any sounds not only produced by one's mouth, but it also somewhat eliminates background/bleed noise.

So I bought these with best buy $10 best buy rewards, amazon price matching, and it was $59 down to $45 down to $42.99 with another $10 off, $32.99 + tax. Not bad at all. The quality of the bluetooth connection on my ZTE is amazing with them, samsung S5, not very good at all depending on the direction and angle of the phone. Different bluetooth, legacy vs more modern (2018-9)? The sound is very good on my bicycle, I can hear the wind if I would like, some street sounds, but cars, nope, lower sounds cut out, be safe when you ride. Loudness is good, base is good and as written, noise cancellation in lower ranges is very good. Comfort is a given with the design, earplugs feel great, the controls are wonky but they work and then feel pretty good. The battery life is so so. Maybe 6~ hours or more at a high level of volume, not really 8-9 hours. I have the big 15~ hour skullcandy headphones, 2 pairs and they last forever. Charge time is pretty good on these as listed, the new ones. The wire protector design is pretty nice, but I haven't bothered using it yet and taking an ear out to hear both the environment and the music makes it sound not too great but is very safe when you need a quick review of your surroundings and your hands are a bit busy. Very very lightweight! :) Overall 5/5 but a few points off for things listed, so 4.5/5

I've owned skull candy for years and tried every tier of their in ear headphones and some of the over ear and have never been disappointed. I've even tried the powerveats wireless and their nice all around, but for the price I can't recommend them when these awesome headphones are less than half the price, have better battery life, and have better noise cancelling. I also feel that for my ears, skull candy always fits better. The beats were just slightly too big or too small with the provided inserts. At first I was looking at the smoking buds wireless but then noticed these and simply went by price and assumed these were better. They are. My coworker has the smoking buds and after trying mine wants to upgrade. The sport ear fittings cancel noise better and produce all ranges very well, bass is low and clear, highs are pronounced without being piercing. Very smooth sounding headphones for all types of music. I use these for more than 8 hours at work and they cause my ears less fatigue than any other headphone I've used which is nice. They're very easy to setup and use and the battery life is more than enough. They're also very light and have a groove for tucking the headphones up and away when not in use and they use a standard Samsung style cable to charge. I'm very happy with these and their price. Highly recommend for anyone that wants sound quality without paying for the name.

I used this headset for both work (taking calls) and general music listening; both at work and while at the gym. After about 2 weeks of wearing this for about 8 hours a day/5 days a week, the neckband was so stretched out that it wouldn't stay on my neck unless I adjusted it constantly and/or kept my head down. The moment I tilted my head back, the band would fall off and if I didn't have the headphones in the whole thing would fall off. This, along with the qualms below caused me to return this after about a month. Now in fairness, I do have a thicker neck, so it started off quite tight against my neck at the beginning. Beyond that, the sound quality was very okay. I'm not an audiophile by any stretch of the imagination, but I do love music and listen to it all the time, so I have a decent idea of what sounds good and what doesn't. These just sounded acceptable; nothing exciting, but not as bad as your standard Apple earbuds. Battery life was decent, no real complaints there. Bluetooth connectivity was pretty poor; if you had the phone in your pocket, but were bent over, there was a good chance that it would start to cut out. So even at close proximity the connection was spotty. Sometimes the only sure was to power off and the power back on the headphones. All in all, I ended up trading up for the Jaybird x3s, and have been way happier with those in this first week.

Upon first using these headphones I was really impressed with how well they sounded. After using them for a couple of days I was sold; these headphones are great! I was wrong. I used them mostly at work, for the convenience of not having to use wired headphones (they just become a tangled mess). After THREE weeks the headphones would randomly shut off while using them; I always made sure they were charged and ready to go so I have no idea why it happened. Afterwards I plugged them in to charge for a few hours and they started working normally again. This issue happened two or three more times, and then after the last my headphones would no longer charge. I tried charging them with multiple different USB cords and still no luck; the charging light indicator would always glow red and the headphones have never turned on since. Now they are as useful as a paperweight. My recommendation if you decide to take a chance with these headphones? BUY THE WARRANTY OFFERED THROUGH BEST BUY, THEY WILL BECOME DEFECTIVE. Or just pay an extra $20 for a better make/model of Bluetooth headphones.

For the price(if you can get them sub $40 even better) these are great in my opinion. I'm hard on headphones I have them in all day at work listening to podcasts as well as use them when lifting. I'd call myself a heavy user. I purchased my first set in January of this year and the left earbud just lost sound. After trying two other brands(yurbuds, JBL) I've decided to buy another pair and send the first set into skullcandy on warranty. Battery life: Best I've found for *cheap* Bluetooth earbuds. I get about a solid 8 hours before the battery life indicator starts going off. Sound: Impressive for the price and I'm extremely picky about this. Perfect for listening to podcasts and music without being too bass heavy. Neckband: Not an issue for me. Does get stretched out pretty quickly. Range: Just decent. When I get sweaty at the gym is where I have the most issues. If the band touches your skin the sound starts to skip and muffle. Comfort: These have to be the most comfortable band type earbuds I've used. If they lasted longer I'd give them another star but they are Skullcandy. I've never had a pair last more than a year.

Switched to these after a high end pair that I wore religiously stopped working. I had no huge expectations, given the price. The sound quality is much better than anticipated, and they're quite durable. I don't have a lot of bad, but there is some. Sync is fairly odd compared to others I've used, and I ended up sitting in the parking lot for awhile with the instructions, finally pulling up directions from a Google search... the provided instructions are pretty terrible. I like the sleek design in regards to potentially concealing them, but what's the point when they come in ridiculously bright colors? Finally, they have volume up and down control... period. My muscle memory must be shot too, because I can't ever seem to hit the right volume button, but instead pause what I'm listening too. You can't really go by feel... or barely anyway. There's no skipping capability built in. The re-sync process is required every time, and has to be paired by your device every time, rather than just auto matching when turning both on (S8). Good enough all in all.

This is my first review of any product that I have ever purchased. So here it goes. I have used Plantronics M55 earpiece for as long as I can remember. They typically lasted about 2.5 years and I would order a new one through Amazon. I never paid more than $30 for one. So when mine started to go out last week I went to order another one and WOW! The price everywhere went up to over $100. So I stared to look at other options, read reviews, compared what I found and looked to make a change. Then I saw this Skullcandy - Method Wireless In-Ear Headphones. I have never had a set that wrapped around my neck and I wasn't sure if I would like it. I have only had it a few days now but was so impressed that I had to write my first review ever. This headset is amazing. The sound quality is so incredible and when I ask the person on the other end of the phone how they sound, they don't believe that I'm on a wireless headset. I can't speak to how long they last since I just purchased them. But I am impressed. I would recommend all day long!

This is my first pair of wireless headphones. I was cautious at buying something way too expensive, but at the same time I didn't want to go cheap. I ultimately bought these due to the 9 hour battery life and I am glad I did. I haven't timed it, but battery life is great. I only use them while sitting around on the laptop (no exercising, etc.) It would have been nice if larger buds would have been provided. I can only imagine if I were up and moving. One negative is the range of the connection is limited. They instantly lose connection when something is in between them and my laptop/tablet especially walls. Would be nice to get up to get a snack and not lose my music! I have a cheap bluetooth speaker that will work throughout the entire house! They are fairly easy to connect and I have found that it is easy to switch the connection between my laptop and computer. Overall they are OK, but could be improved.

Have been using these for a few weeks now after cycling through a couple different bluetooth headphones including Apple's new Airpods and Beats models. For the price, these Skullcandy ones are really tough to beat. I switched to these from a pair of PowerBeats2 earbuds because I didn't like the earhook design of the beats. I travel a lot and wind up pulling one earbud out to catch announcements at the airport, etc and the beats would always sit awkwardly with only one bud in. I was skeptical of these neckband style earbuds but after having used them now for several weeks, I don't think I'll go back to stand alone buds. It's a world of difference when you need to keep one ear free with this style. My main issue with earbuds is always volume on airplanes and I'm happy to report that these are great -- movie dialogue is clear and easy to hear and music volume is perfect. The PowerBeats were a tad bit louder overall but I honestly think the music profile is better on these Skullcandy ones - bass is strong and not muddy at all while the midrange comes through better than with the PowerBeats I feel. Overall, I highly recommend these and at the price - they are a no-brainer in terms of value for your money.

SkullCAndy Method-in-ear system, i am very satisfied with this. I have tried multiple wired/wireless headphones/earbuds. This is a sport model, and easy to wipe sweat off it, and it stays clean. wraps around neck, comfortably, not too tight, but won't fall off easily. wires do not wrap around front of neck, wires don't get in way of your hands, and don't bug you by dangling UNDER your neck; they stay to the side of your head. ear buds are light, comfortable, because the battery and other controls are in the neck wrap-around, keeping the weight from the ears. one item (plus or minus, depending on your sound desires). Ear buds such as apple, don't seal the ear canal, thus easier to hear some outside sounds, but then you lose some sound. these ear buds fill the canal, thus sealing it, thus keeping all the playback sound, but muffling outside noise. I've gotten used to this, but if there were an air bypass hole in the ear cushion, it might let me hear outside noise better (if someone tries to speak to you while you're exercising), but I would not downgrade this model; it is, again, a plus or minus, depending on your desires. overall, very satisfied, and my wife LOVED them, so we ordered a pair for her also.

So I ended up buying these to replace my Shadows that got broken. I was set to buy the Shadows but was looking for something slightly less expensive all the while hoping I wouldn’t sacrifice quality. I was expecting a decent pair of earbuds but they over delivered: so the Pros.. Sound Quality is great. No overbearing high end or tinny sounds the bass came through and also wasn’t overpowering. Great warm mix. FIt.. the larger buds didn’t feel right. They were too big and the sound felt filtered. Once I changed to the smaller buds 100 percent difference. Now .. volume. I am 70 percent dear in both ears. Most headphones and earbuds are far too low for me to get any significant use out of. The volume on these are impressive! I would have to say the only thing I would’ve changed is that the back neck piece connecting the buds is a hard plastic and hugs your neck and is a little awkward and uncomfortable at first. I think they would’ve benefited more by using a rubber style flex band. Overall on a score of 5. These would be a solid 4.7 only because of the neck band otherwise they’d be a 5.

Picked this up a little over a month ago and have been using it everyday since. Was heading to the gym when my over ear bluetooth headphones band cracked and Best buy happened to be next door to my gym. After going back and forth between those in the same price range I ended up with these skullcandy in ear bluetooth earphones. Pros Solid music playback Battery life ( I get about 7.5 hours per day with regular random usage plus few hours at the gym) Lightweight (it's like a necklace so I tend to forget I'm wearing it) Cons Bluetooth does lose signal randomly from time to time. Phone is only in my pocket and I have a LG v30 so I'm confident it's not my phone. Microphone per those I've spoke with said I sound distant and sometimes it sounds muffled. Other times its clear. So not sure what's going on. Overall I'd recommend for gym usage and casual wear around for commuting or something along those lines. If you need to make lots of calls I wouldn't recommend as that feature seems inconsistent. Bass is also so so. Hope this helps. Good luck!

I have only had these Bluetooth Ear Buds for 3 days, but, so far I have easily "paired" them to My (4K / 3D) Samsung TV that is hooked up to a Samsung 4K Ultra 3D Blu-Ray Player w/4K Streaming Media Upscale. WOW, what sound to go with my 4K picture!!! But, they even gave me a "simulated" Surround Sound effect while watching a 3D movie!!! I had my TV set to play in Surround Sound mode, but, I never expected to get it out of these ear buds. I've also easily "paired" My Apple 7th Generation iPod, My ZTE223 Cell Phone, Windows Media Player on My Dell Windows 10 Laptop & WinAmp mp3 Player on My Samsung Android Tablet. I don't think there is anything else I own to try connecting to after all that, and I "paired" them ALL in about 2 hours. I certainly wouldn't spend the extra for Bose or Beats!!! (Although I've never tried Beats) Also, keep in mind that you want buds if your going to use them with 3D glasses. I tried My Bose "On Ear" Headphones, which were a nightmare to "pair" to My TV, and you just can't wear them with 3D glasses!!!

I use these headphones to do yard work. I do NOT keep my phone on me because I don't want to damage it and/or I don't have pockets. I take THREE steps away from my phone and it's cutting out. Take 10 steps away and it disconnects all together. When I walk in range, the annoying voice says I'm connected, but I have to hit PLAY on my phone to resume the music (dirty hands and all). The sound is 'okay' compared to my BOSE earphones (when it's NOT cutting out). Looks like I will go back to my tiny MP3 player & my BOSE wired earbuds when I'm doing yard work. I bought these on Black Friday for $25. I would NOT pay a penny more for these. I am giving one star for the design/comfort and another star for the sound quality. I wish the bluetooth range was further than 3 feet!

After moving up to the iPhone 7, the new headphones jack was kind of a pain in the "you know what". I'm a regular gym bunny and I needed to upgrade my headphones because I lost the jack and... it was time to make the purchase. I understand people hesitation when dropping a ton of money on something that you feel like you could have buyers remorse. I've used skullcandy headphones before and had good success with them. I checked online and compared and Best Buy actually had the lowest rate by about $13. Read the fine print and make sure you're buying what it is you're looking for. Don't buy the cheapest one for the gym and miss out that you didn't get the sweat resistant. They're cute, they work, sounds good and they're worth taking a chance on. My only complaint.... there's no case for them. I have an uneasy feeling about just throwing them in my gym bag. It sounds like you're just asking one of the earbuds to be lost or ripped off by some unfortunate accident. So I ziplock baggy it. Get a color one too. It'll stand out better when you're looking for it. Just my 2 cents though.
