    Don't buy these!

    I really wanted to like these. I had a pair about 6 months ago and they fit well, sounded great and lived up to the hype. Unfortunately, after about 3 months, they started buzzing and finally wouldn't charge or turn on at all. I went back to using my apple corded ear buds for several months at the gym thinking I would get another pair. Fast forward to about a month ago. I was in Best Buy to pick up a new home theatre receiver and bit the bullet and purchased a second pair. This pair literally lasted a week. They just shut off and wouldn't charge at all. I was busy at work and missed the Best Buy 14 day return window by about 3 days. Thankfully, the customer service rep let me grab another pair. This time I paid for the 2 year extended warranty. This 3rd pair lasted about two workouts which totaled about 2 hours. Back to Best Buy I went.. returned them and grabbed another pair. The 4th pair faired a little better as I got about a week of use out of them until DEAD. Fed up with this product, I returned them for some Beats By Dre. Way more expensive, but my time is valuable and even though I had the protection plan, driving back and forth so I could grab another set of headphones got to be ridiculous. So the bottom line is I went through 4 pairs of these headphones and they all failed waaaaaay before they should have. Save yourself time, energy and money and find another product.

    Okay while it lasted...

    Upon first using these headphones I was really impressed with how well they sounded. After using them for a couple of days I was sold; these headphones are great! I was wrong. I used them mostly at work, for the convenience of not having to use wired headphones (they just become a tangled mess). After THREE weeks the headphones would randomly shut off while using them; I always made sure they were charged and ready to go so I have no idea why it happened. Afterwards I plugged them in to charge for a few hours and they started working normally again. This issue happened two or three more times, and then after the last my headphones would no longer charge. I tried charging them with multiple different USB cords and still no luck; the charging light indicator would always glow red and the headphones have never turned on since. Now they are as useful as a paperweight. My recommendation if you decide to take a chance with these headphones? BUY THE WARRANTY OFFERED THROUGH BEST BUY, THEY WILL BECOME DEFECTIVE. Or just pay an extra $20 for a better make/model of Bluetooth headphones.

    I brought these headphones on Jun 16, 2017 and was crazy excited they sounded great super light and were as comfortable as the wired i i brought so i was stoked I like to ride my downhill bike around town to exercise so i was super happy great tunes great exercise what could go wrong so after a fun day of riding around i get home charged the headphones and prepare for tome on the 17th i go to take care i business which only took about an hour or a little more sound 1 hour go by the headphones get super hot turn off and wouldn't turn back on after that i lost hope cause of some bad reviews and sure enough they were right the headphones were trash didnt abuse or miss use them and after a simple 2 maybe 3 hour of use they died so i took them back to BestBuy and got the Sony - XB50BS Extra Bass Sports Wireless In-Ear Headphones - Black which aren't as loud but are good battery is just as great as the Skullcandy but haven't giving me issues so far at all the only thing about the Sony headphones are you have to use the correct ear tip thingy's are they become super uncomfortable but when you use the correct set up they don't fall out and are a dream my dream are shaped weird so I'm super picky and being a guy i normally have to buy lady headphones as they are more comfortable i wouldn't recommend buy these without the 2year warranty you want to waste your money.

    I got tired of wired headphones constantly breaking and turning my volume down all the time on my smart phone.. so I decided to move on to bluetooth. Bought these for the fair listing price.. well, the first set fried the battery. Unsure if it was my fault or just faulty battery.. got 6 hours of use first day I got them later that night I tried to charge it acted all funky next day they worked for 5 minutes and completely turned off with "power off". Go back home.. They wouldn't charge.. took them back. Got another pair. They worked for about an hour and 30 minutes.. with no warning and they just died....... Get back home red light stays on and they have been sitting on the cable it came with for 6 hours. Box says it takes 2.5 hours to charge. Went to try them and absolutely nothing... But the red light stays on.... So needless to say... Don't waste your time with these in ear buds by skullcandy

    I purchased these headphones assuming they would be the quality I've come to expect from Skullcandy. I've had several sets of Skullcandy ear buds and headphones over the years, and while they're not a "top-of-the-line" brand, they're good for the price... Until now. These Bluetooth earbuds had the worst sound quality I've ever heard from any headphones. Worse than the super cheap ones you get for free on an airplane. Worse than a $10 single-ear Bluetooth headset that wasn't designed for playing music. The sound was tinny, with no bass whatsoever, and crackled like there was a short in the wiring somewhere. Maybe I just got a lemon. Quality control isn't perfect at any company. But they were so bad, I took them back the same day and bought a different brand instead. I understand that Bluetooth headphones generally don't sound as good as wired, which is fine, but these weren't even passable.

    I strongly recommend against buying these. First pair I bough lasted 18 days before they would no longer hold a charge. They would turn on when plugged in and would shut off once removed from the charger. Had to return directly to skull candy since it was after the 14 day bestbuy return policy. Received a replacement pair that lasted 22 days. Blue light that shows they are powered on does not shut off when they are powered off causing the battery to drain, randomly powered off while charged, and constantly lost connectivity while phone was in my pocket. Sent back to skullcandy yesterday for another replacement. Wish I would've spent the extra money and bought a quality pair of wireless earbuds

    stopped working after a week

    These Skull Candy wireless headphones worked better than expected up until one day when I listened to them all day at work, recharged them for a few hours, and found that they were no longer working when I went for my evening walk (this was my daily routine). I tried to pair them to my MP3 player again and even had my tech-savvy nephew try to pair them, but to no avail. He even tried to pair them with a few of his own Bluetooth devices, but they just would not pair with anything. It's not rocket science to pair them with another Bluetooth device so it was obvious that they were defective. I returned them and didn't bother to replace them. I'm disappointed because I'd read so many reviews for this and other Skull Candy models as well as other brands before I decided to purchase these. I would not recommend them to anyone.

    My first pair of these worked for about an hour then refused to power on unless plugged in, even though when plugged in the LED indicates full charge. No amount of charging fixed this issue. I thought maybe I got an odd defective unit, so I exchanged them. Second pair worked for about an hour and a half and now does the same thing. I was just out for a run when it happened, in clear, dry weather, so no moisture or temperature issues or any kind of impact. The music just stopped and they wouldn't turn back on until plugged into the charger, then go dead the second they are unplugged. Totally lost confidence in the Skullcandy brand so I'm going to roll the dice on some slightly upmarket Sony buds. Best Buy still gets my money for being accommodating with the exchanges.

    Stopped Charging

    I owned these headphones for just under 3 weeks before they stopped charging, rendering them unusable. The Best Buy return policy is 14 days, so I wasn’t able to return them. Instead, I had to make a warranty claim to Skullcandy, pay $15 to ship these to Skullcandy once my claim was approved, and I’m still waiting for them to send me a new pair. The whole thing is ridiculous and I’m not happy about it. Prior to the malfunction with these not charging, I was very happy with the sound quality and the fit/feel of the headphones. The Bluetooth paired easily with my iPhone and these were great for running on the treadmill. I would NOT recommend these though because of the charging not working. I still don’t understand why it happened.

    Play/Pause button dont work

    I purchased this product after reading many reviews and thought it would be a good fit with all features and value for money. But i was wrong. It had major functionality defect. Its play button dont work after pause. I had a exchange with brand new piece but that also had the same problem. I thought i am the one who is having problem while operating so i showed to best buy technician and he also couldn't play it after pausing the video. Because of this bad bluetooth , i couldn't buy any other handset during thanks giving. Also it wasn't pairing up with my phone. The same was re-created with best buy associate. I am not sure how is it working for other people or whole set of bad products are coming during the holiday season.

    People have a hard time hearing me throughout our conversation. Definitely can't have the window down in the car. Can't walk into a store where others are talking. Can't have TV soft in the background. All sound will be picked up and fight with my words. Super unhappy with my purchase and attempted to buy what I thought would be a higher end product at an economical price. Trusted the well known name. Disappointed would be an understatement. Do not waste your hard earned money on this. I would not evenrecommend to an enemy if I had one. Garbage.

    I had these fall apart on me back in July. I don't run with them and had bought a case that they would rest in every day after work. I have a desk job and needed something I could quickly change from listening to music to my work headset to answer a call. The back part of the neck band split and the wire ended up showing through. No amount of trying to secure it with multiple glue types worked. The headset also decided to not pair or stay charged after three months of use. I will say that when it DID pair, I was able to see the battery life on it, which doesn't show on my new headset I went with instead of repurchasing this one again.

    I own and love all 3 pairs of Bluetooth ink'd buds. For whatever reason I decided to jump on a sale offer for these method Bluetooth buds. Big mistake. First, it felt like I'd be damaging the cords to the buds just to extend them from their snugly gripped neck band. And sure enough within an hour of use I lost volume in the left earbud. I recharged them and tried again without luck. They're currently on there way back to best buy for a refund. It's a waste of a great sale but I'll stick with the ink'd Bluetooth buds.

    Got these for Xmas. First after a few weeks of regular use the left side went out,short in the connection. A few weeks after that the right side did the same. The sound quality is OK nowhere near "great". The problem is the very thin flimsy wire connecting the buds to the frame. After extremely normal use,not even jogging or the like,just wearing them casually,both sides are now shorted out at the connections. Do not buy unless you plan on looking at them and not actually using them.

    I really liked this product but the battery completely died on me suddenly. I'm currently trying to return the product, but unsure if a replacement will work any better. Not really impressed with two wireless bluetooth headsets that I've purchased from BestBuy thus far (other one was a powerbeats 2 wireless headset that also had lots of problems). This model was purchased as a backup given the price, but I didn't expect it to also malfunction...

    Skull candy makes a decent low cost product but this was a horrible product only had it one day major issues. First it paired to my phone but wouldn’t pair to my MP3 player then deleted the pairing to try again wouldn’t pair to anything just kept shutting off (yes I charged it 10+ hours) prior to first usage. Tried hard reset nothing. Finally got it working right headphone went out. Threw my hands up giving up on this headset. Even for the price point got it on a deal of the day was not worth it.

    I wasn't thrilled with these even when they worked, which was only for a few days. Sound quality was just okay. I would have been content with them for the sale price I paid, but they only ever charged once. When I try to charge them now, light indicates a full charge, but they will not power on except when when plugged in. Once I unplug them, they go dead. Returning to Best Buy and turned off enough by this first experience with the brand (and a common one judging from the reviews here) that I won't be buying another Skullcandy product.

    I purchase these for my wife on July 16th while out of town on July 29th they stopped working completely. it would show that it was fully charged but would not power on. when my wife and I got back into town on August 2nd I took them back to Best Buy and was told I was out of my 15-day return policy and since I decline to buy their extended warranty they would not do anything for me. I will say Skullcandy has been very helpful with this taking care of it but it's the frustration of Best Buy not standing behind their products that they sell.

    Good thing I bought the warranty because the first time I bought the wireless earphones they worked for about four months and randomly started shutting off for no reason. I gave it a chance and thought the battery was dead so I charged it but had the same problem. I traded them in for a second pair and the second pair was even worse. Lasted about two weeks and started shutting off. I don’t get it so I just gave up on those skull candy earphones.

    The sound was amazing at first but I loves the product I also loved that they were small comfortable and compact and small and that they were sweat proof since I play basketball a lot but after 1 month they stop working I really was disappointed and unsatisfied because I loved the product I also didn't get a protection plan I wouldn't reccomend to buy these they stop working after a month Dont get them!!!
