If you're going to buy another skylanders starter pack, you got to have Donkey Kong. I went in the store to buy the generic starter pack for my nephew and saw this one with Donkey Kong (there was another with Bowser) . I think it gives the WII U a "1UP" on the other systems, or maybe I'm just a little bias because I love Donkey Kong.

My kid really enjoys playing it. The cool thing is that this game allow you to play with older skylander characters. The car idea has been adding more fun to overall experience.

Nice set of Skylanders for the WiiU. The Special DK figure that can act as an Exclusive Skylander or amiboo (just twist the base) is awesome according to the kids. They like the game and are having fun.

This is the best skylanders game so far to date. With the added characters from Nintendo, this brings in a familiar and more personalized gameplay. Highly recommended for fans of toys to life games.

Bought this for my son. He gets the Skylanders every year. This is a little different with there being cars, boats and planes but it puts a new twist on the series.

There are two big thumbs up on this game, one is the introduction of vehicles that is fun, and the other one at least on the Wii U version is the amiibo Donkey, it's awesome.

Good Game with a great Storyline. However, very expensive if not on sale and practically requires you to buy more figures that weren't included in the starter pack to play the game. Turbo Charged Donkey Kong also functions as an amiibo and looks great.

This is a Christmas present but my son has watched reviews and is very interested. It kills me that now we have to buy the game and characters and now their vehicles too. These game makers are just figuring out how to make parents spend more money.

I reviewed the dark edition for Xbox 360 and decided to get a wii u to play superchargers with donkey kong and Bowser ( bowser not included with the wii u starter). After waiting for the update I got to playing right away and found some little differences like the legendary and regular hand of Fate register differently but show up the same in the legendary treasure selection. It's a fun game for people who enjoy both vehicles and skylanders the action blends in nicely with the traditional way of play. With vehicles for land, sea and sky it will be hours of fun racing and battling for first place in local or online.

Skylanders: Superchargers, even though it may be the fifth game in the franchise, and it may be getting a bit boring by now, adds new features into the mix to justify a purchase. This iteration adds vehicles, which allow you to drive around, swim around, and fly around, but only in certain areas, unfortunately. There are new characters that when paired up with their vehicle supercharge it to make it better. However, all previous figures are compatible. But the best thing about this version is that for the first time, there is Online Co-op.
