    Misleading customer service call

I knew going into buying a prebuilt that I might get some garbage OEM components, so I called and was assured they only use off-the-shelf components but they wouldnt tell me a brand. Ok makes sense, they probably use a few different brands but at least theyre all off the shelf. WRONG When my machine arrived, the specs do actually check out but some of the critical components are as generic as they come. I received the cheapest PNY 4090 on the market. It looks like the PNY Verto but is NOT. It is a cheap version PNY makes for SI's. Similarly, the Apacer Panther DDR5 memory that came with it cannot be purchased separately (unless I buy it from a distributor whose website domain is from Bangladesh) so my hopes of adding more of the same memory cannot be achieved without replacing the existing modules. Reputable *names* not reputable *parts* which to me is a key distinction. If youre looking at a 4090, you have the money to buy a system with truely name brand components. Just spend the extra couple hundred dollars and get the real deal.

The best deal so far! Specs look almost perfect! I might upgrade the memory later to 64gb if I need to :)
