    I wrote down the model number which I found inside my refrigerator door. The store did not have the item in stock, so it had to be ordered. Once received, I picked it up and found it incredibly easy to replace the old water filter. Job done! And I reset the reminder feature for next time. No service call necessary.

    Installation is super simple, but you may need a wrench to remove the old filter. Even after a year of use, the water coming through was still very fresh. It just seemed like it was a long time for a filter to be used, so I replaced with the same mfg's filter.

    We hadn’t changed our filter for a couple of years but started drinking more water and knew that it needed to be changed. We couldn’t believe the difference in the taste and crispness of the water after changing to this filter!

    This is my best purchase to date for the quality and price. I am very pleased. I was fooled by another store claiming to have the generic version of this product for less. Initially, they had the wrong product in the box. I exchanged it and the right model product did not fit my refrigerator. Then Best Buy matched their price for the correct product. AWESOME!
