    This item was only designed to operate in a "Z" function, I needed it to operate in a "C" function. In other words, it only connects to the back of the dryer and the other dryer vent hose can only connect going towards the wall...I needed a device that connected to the back of the dryer and connected towards the front of the dryer. I returned it and purchased a device that would function as I needed it to.

    Depending on your setup, just cutting the semi rigid vent to size would be a much better option

    Smart Choice - 0 to 18 Periscope Dryer Vent Hook-Up was recommended by a Best Buy worker to be used in a small space where our dryer is located. It used up more space than a regular, bendable dryer vent you can purchase anywhere! Also, it wasn't designed for a wall where the dryer vent is located closer to the floor than partially up the wall, about the middle of the height of a dryer.

    I am very pleased with the product. It has minimized the gap between the wall and the dryer vent and enabled us to get rid of the bulky hose. I have more walkway and the utility room is less crowded.

    If my outlet would of been put in to fit this it would of been perfect and given us more room. Had to return due to it not fitting. It was my fault.

    I love my new appliances‼️ I no longer have to get on my knees to do my laundry. I actually enjoy doing laundry now‼️ Go figure. Also, my clothes dry much faster with my new dryer.

    Needed this for my new dryer. It wasn't quite able to make the bends needed for my hookup so had to supplement with another component. This was still a must have for hookup.

    Because of the position of the dryer in the garage the vent wouldn't fit. Installer used my old one.

    Item is good since it does what it says--places dryer closer to wall but the design of the dryer vent is such that the washer and dryer are not centered.
