Excellent product. Easy to install and remove and seems durable

We bought this when we were expecting our new dryer and our dryer is perfectly located to the vent so we wanted this so the vent would go straight from dryer to vent in the wall. However this item is designed so that zero inches (so the vent and dryer are right by each other) the unit is extended all the way out. This is kinda silly. Why can't they be together at the smallest point? That would make sense. Unfortunately it did not fit into the space we had for it so we had to return it. Even if you have the space, you will see it stick out from behind your dryer if your dryer Vent is lined up perfectly.

for some reason the dryer vent was installed on the side wall of the dryer location. This made it possible to hook up the dryer vent, and not haveing to pay to have the machine altered

Sturdy and solid. Easy installation and easy to figure out. Fits right and great.

Ok product. Required cutting it down as the vent from dryer to wall vent was only 12 inches vs the product minimum being 18 inches. It worked but took some adjusting.

I bought this for my small laundry room to save space. It gives a clean look. A lot of people still say to use the other dryer vent type, but I do like this one.

In this day of huge washers/dryers and tiny utility rooms, this is currently the only sort-of solution. After having to crush the exhaust hose in order to get the garage door to open past our new shortest depth made dryer, BB delivery tech had us order this periscope style exhaust hose. It looked like it would work but in all reality, where it mounts to the wall attachment, no space was saved and he ended up going back to a mashed and twisted vent hose and lots of tape. I try to not ever look at it. He did the best he could with what he had. I really felt sorry for the guy. Get a clue utility makers, not all utility rooms are the size of a high school gym.

Had hand surgery. Waiting to install. I bought thinking / believing it will work. Still believe it’s the solution for my situation.

No issue with installing it and works fine. This enabled me to move my dryer closer to my wall.

If you need a close fit to your wall this is it. Very user friendly and helps get a nice snug placement to the wall and the periscope can be finagled into several different positions naturally depending on the placement of you dryers vent and the placement of the vent in the wall.

1. The product was adaptable to tight spaces, but had to be trimmed with shears. Flexible product both for distance and angle adjustment--just light weight metal that can flex. 2. The sealed shipping box picked up in "store" should have included adjustable vent clamps; they were NOT in the box. Should have remembered moral: insist on opening and inspecting.

Great item so you save even more space, getting it closer to the wall!! Less bulky. Learned to say a Periscope if you look under Vertical it won't come up.

Did not work for my needs. Had to return. It was too short and not tall enough to use.

during my install of my new dryer in my new home, I found out that I couldn't use the normal dryer vent as it caused the dryer to stand out too far from the wall and therefore the door to the laundry room would not shut! the installers told me about this item which allows the dryer to sit closer to the wall and it worked perfectly!
