    The periscope dryer vent is perfect for front-load dryers. This vent allows you to position the dryer closer to the wall.

    This unit worked. I needed to get the dryer closer to the wall and this unit worked great. Got about 3 inches closer to the wall with this vent. It works.

    Installation was rough, partially due to extremely limited space, partially due to size/shape of material. After installation it did not take long before I made what I thought was a minor repairing of the dryer and tore the vent apart. Replaced this vent with a traditional accordion vent which ended up easier to install and seems to be functioning fine for much less money.

    I had to have a gas company come out to install the dryer. We put on the vent though and it was very easy

    When I told the Best Buy Appliance salesman that I thought the washer/dryer units I wanted might not fit in the closet if the dryer vent was too wide, he recommended this item. It allowed the units to be as far back into the closet as possible, which was needed. The dryer works great and is very efficient.

    This is a money saver, When we got the new washer and dryer the ducts did not align/matchup and the contractor was like i need to create a new duct hole in the wall and it will cost $$$. did some research and found this, worked perfectly with the existing duct,. Had to cut it size, saved $$$

    This periscope vent is very thin like aluminum and mine came all bent and damaged. I would not recommend purchasing this vent, but there are better quality vents out there. Best Buy just doesn’t sell them. Also this only expands to a short distance and I needed 10 mor inches. Geek Squad was willing to install my own provided vent for me.
