I didn’t think it possible to have these kinds of feelings for water inlet hoses, but BOY! was I wrong. I knew, from the moment I took them(yes, there are TWO for double your pleasure, if you know what I mean, nudge nudge, wink wink!) out of the box. The magnesium flare glint of that cold steel nearly fused my cornea, it was so bright and beautiful. Like staring into the Sun. And, should we even broach the subject of length? Dare we? Oh, yes, let’s! I was expecting a few mediocre inches of usable pipe, you know, like you’d have to talk about in hushed tones to your bestie the day after a horrible first date with THAT co-worker. But NOOOO! We are talking 6 full glistening feet of serpentine goodness, fully prepped to deliver the juice whichever way you want it...in, out, back, forth, hot, cold,up, down... oh, my, I simply MUST refresh my Mint Julep and have a cold, damp towel before we proceed.........(several minutes later) Suffice it to say, unless your taste for pipe is significantly more sophisticated than the rest of us, and considering that this is a TWO-PACK (OMG! Both at the same time?!?), just be happy that you’re wallet isn’t getting hosed for this type of experience. LET THE FLUIDS FLOW!

I purchased a new LG washer and dryer a couple months ago and had it installed by the Geek Squad. The washer was malfunctioning on the first wash and had to be replaced. When the washer was replaced, something happened to the dryer and it had to be replaced. The original washer I purchased had been discontinued, so I had to get another version that does not match the washer. Also, they wanted me to pay the difference for the "upgraded" dryer. After complaining on why this was not acceptable, they conceded to eat the cost. When they came on yet another day to replace the dryer, they did not hook up the dryer to the waterline for the steam function to work. They returned yesterday for a fourth time to fix this issue. When they left, I had a minor meltdown because the washer didn't work. Luckily, it was just that they had not turned the waterlines back on. This has been the most frustrating purchase ever. I was out multiple days of work and so much time. All of my experiences talking to people about this problem were flippant at best. I will not be using Best Buy, Geek Squad, or any LG product in the future.

Being a machine over $1000 and the LG brand behind it I assumed this unit will be a long lasting one. My family and friends also suggested to stick with LG brand when I was having second thoughts about it and was leaning more towards Samsung but I went with this LG washing machine and I regret it. I was having issues right after few months with sensor not not sensing the load properly and soaking water too much or too little. Now the machine spin is not working at all. I tried the normal cycle and spin only cycle as well in both cases it is making loud sounds like water is churning in the background and tried to spin but it stopped all of a sudden. After few mins it dumps more water instead of spinning. I wish I wouldn't have gone with LG and would have gone through the review thoroughly as they state the obvious issue with this model. !

My review is a little different thani some I rate this machine good but will exchange for a different brand I was scared to buy this machine after reading all the reviews and scores but took a chance cause the price was good for this size of machine the inside barrel is huge can put a comforter in with no trouble this machine washes good clothes come out fresh and clean it uses enough water the indicators on the front let you know what the machine is doing which I like and this one there's no tray you can still use pods etc as well as lots of cycle choices I only have one complaint with this machine and it has alot of vibration on rise and spin cycle like a plane is taking off it shakes not sure if its the washer or if in delivery maybe legs need adjusted or not balanced correctly other wise a good machine you may not have this issue but I just had a previous water damage to my home due to a ge washer that was 4 years old ..so not taking chances with further issues im exchanging for a Samsung top loader similar hope I like it also this machine spuns the clothes really dry so less time in the dryer great machine besides the loud movement and vibrations which may not actually be the machine may need adjusting..

Washer has a nice appearance & features. Not very loud when operating. BEWARE of size dimensions and be sure unit will fit in your space. Size dimensions on LG website were different than dimensions listed on Best Buy product in-store description and yet again different on Best Buy e-mail receipt confirmation - none were consistent. Control panel is sensitive and turns on/off easily if bumped, especially during a cycle which then cancels and needs to be restarted. Control panel power on/off chime or options/end of cycle chime did not work from initial installation. Had to have appliance repairman out and indicated control panel will need to be repaired. Still waiting for part to come in after 2 weeks. LG on-line & phone support was less than helpful and very time consuming. LG customer service scheduled repair service with one service center and yet a different service center came to repair unit. As with buying any new product, you want it to function perfectly from the beginning. Makes us skeptical now as to if this will be the only issue or will there be others to deal with.

I would have given a 5, but the hoses did not include washers with screens. The instructions specifically said to use this type of washer to prevent debris from entering the GE washer. Before hooking up the water supply I had to make a trip to a home improvement store wasting more time and money. I presume all clothes washers require this type of washer so this set of hoses should include these specific washers. If I didn't read the instructions and not use the specified accessories would I have voided the warranty? How many substandard installs did Best Buy perform?

    1. Online ordering - FAIL ( No one reads what you write in the comments section of the order. They show up and then say can’t install it on any floor that is not the first and need 4 people. 4 man job they say need verbal confirmation for appointments , why have an online system then ) 2. Resheduling Appointment- FAIL ( 13days + 5days to install a fridge and washer dryer ? how are you still in business ? ) 3. Returns - FAIL ( System is so broken it processes return of appliances to billing instead of delivery address ) 4. In service appointment - FAIL ( Appointment window 12-4, your men show up at 9:00PM, after 3 phone calls to your call center. ) 5. Payment Refund - FAIL ( Returns only for items was refunded and services which you didnt provide another phone call with a 10 minute wait ) 6. Call center - FAIL ( minimum 2 transfers to talk to any one who can do something )

I purchased these hoses when I bought my washer & dryer from Best Buy. Fast forward less than 2 years and I have a small flood in my home. Both hoses had multiple leaks/cracks. So, I did the reasonable thing (sarcasm) and purchased the exact same hoses at Best Buy as the replacements. After reading so many positive reviews, I assumed I just got a faulty set in the beginning. My replacement hoses lasted 8 days (cue leaks/cracks). By the way, I shut my water off at the valve when not in use now so the mini flood this time wasn't as bad. I've since replaced these hoses with rubber hoses from a local hardware store, for the half the price. If you're contemplating purchasing these hoses, don't.

Great hose, necessary with a washing machine

These kinds of hoses are absolutely necessary when buying a new washing machine, or to replace your "regular hoses" RIGHT NOW! I had one of my normal hoses burst (luckily I was at home at the time). It burst and it began squirting water into the air and all the way into my kitchen. My house would have flooded inside an hour had I not been home and quickly turned off the water and replaced the hoses. These hoses should last 20 years, but I would even replace them in 20 years just in case. They are reinforced with metal and will keep the hose from bursting, but even they won't last forever. These new hoses are an imperative. My old boss had one of his Rubber hoses burst and he came home to "Flood Damage" which cost him over $20k to fix. These are more expensive then regular hoses, but it IS the cheapest insurance you will every buy.

    check your washer first

This is a good product. stainless steel is resistant to rust, won't rot out over time, and looks nice, too. Be diligent though...if someone tells you you have to have these to install your new washer, double check to see if the standard rubber hoses come with your new washer first. If the rubber ones do come with, and you aren't looking to drop an extra $30 unnecessarily, than I would skip this purchase. If you have to buy hoses anyhow, these are a good recommendation. The price could be a bit lower though, I feel like I got gouged by all the things I 'needed' with my new washer.

Before I purchased this washer and dryer, I read all of those reviews and I must say that I do not agree with the negatives reviews regarding the washer. The people who had those negative statements apparently didn't read the instructions or they read the instructions but couldn't comprehend what they read. I read the instructions, followed each one, and my washer works perfectly. When the washing cycle was done, there was no excessive water left in the clothes because the final spin took care of that. I suggest that all of the people with those negative statements, get help when reading their instructions.

We bought an LG washer and dryer, had them stacked and "installed". They did hook up these hoses but we quickly noticed that we had water hammer when the washer abruptly turned off during its normal cycle. This did not happen with our old washer and it's a bit surprising that it did happen with this one since we do have 2 year old copper pipes that do have arrestors installed. I could temporarily get rid of it by turning off the main and turning on a few faucets. This seemed to drain the arrestors but after a few cycles, the hammer would return. I ended up going to Royal Brass in San Jose and had them make me a set of 3/4" hoses and the problem is gone.

When the hose replacement was touted as an integral (and unavoidable part of the delivery package), frankly, I had considerable trepidation and reluctance! I thought I was being gouged! I could not have been more wrong!!! These hoses were so much better than anything I've ever seen, that I was truly pleased when I had the opportunity to study them and speak with the installation team. They are worth every dime! The thought and design that went into them is nothing short of stunning. After all, they are just hose, no? Absolutly not! These are made with use and longevity constantly in mind. No 90 degree angles, no kinked hoses, no rubber to slowly deterioriate and fail. These are made for set it and forget it. Thanks folks!!

I'm just going to be blunt and to the point. There was a leak in the hose and it flooded my upstairs. Best Buy FORCES you to purchase this in order to have the appliances installed, just do it yourself or pay someone to install them because if something goes wrong with this, good luck getting Best Buy to do anything about it. I got tossed back and forth between Best Buy's insurance, the hose manufacturer, and Samsung. It just isn't worth having to deal with 3 people and I've ended up just sucking up the cost and doing it myself. This is also probably the last major purchase I make at Best Buy.

The 6' Stainless-Steel Washing Machine Fill Hose (2-Pack) was well welcome. The Best Buy employee's Ozzy, Curtis, and Jet and Micheal said these were a much better washer hose too have. Holds up much longer with no leaks the the standard washer hoses. I was realizing that a lot of washers don't come with new hose now days. My LG front loader 4.0 Cu Ft. 12 cycle high efficiency steam front-loader washer at-least come with the standard set, But Ozzy from the install Auto bay at Best Buy, reminded me that I just might want to purchase the better 6' stainless-steel washing machine fill hose since I was buying nice appliances why not finish the set off with quality stainless steel fill hoses. I personally thought that was an excellent Idea. Thanks Best Buy I am pleased with my purchase.

What do you say about hoses? They work. I was frustrated to have to get these with my installation (since my rubber ones work just fine). However, I have to admit, I DO like these hoses. Sturdy. Easy to install. Will hold up better than a rubber one. (Aside: We lived in a house where the rubber hose wore a hole in it from the gentle agitation it received as the washer shook back and forth. After ~5 years with the hose rubbing against the wall, water broke through the weakened rubber and flooded the downstairs. Yeah, pretty sure that can't happen with these hoses...I shoulda switched to stainless after that event, but I just pulled the washer further from the wall.) I'll probably go stainless from here on out.

Bought new washer & dryer & all new connections & install from Best Buy. Dryer quit working & burning smell. Referred to Whirlpool repair service, quickly serviced dryer & found loose power cord in back of dryer, which was installed by Best Buy. Entire wiring harness burned & needs replaced. Whirlpool does not cover cost of new power cord, since I purchased from Best Buy. Visited store in person & called customer service, only to be told no, it's been past 90 days. At least another week until dryer will be repaired & Best Buy won't even be reasonable & cover the $19.99 power cord they sold & installed poorly. $19.99 power cord unfortunately is going to cost Best Buy a longtime & frequent customer.

If you have ever had a rubber washer burst on you, you will fully understand how vital these high pressure, metallic water hoses are in protecting your home, appliance, money, and precious time. Unfortunately, I can personally attest to the problems that can arise when that happens, and the cost of having to replace the flooring in our laundry room alone should be incentive enough for you to consider upgrading and/or periodically replacing your old, worn out, rubberized washer hoses. The metallic washer hoses that we purchased from Best Buy were made of high quality components, and are designed to work the newer, high grade washers on the market. You won't be sorry that you made the decision to purchase.

Well it was a horror story. The sales guy appeared good but so terrible. All he wanted was a sale. He didn't have any good advice. He also promised to call and change the financing the next day and he left for a week. I had to beg for attention for such a expensive purchase. I Feel he lied abuot his position with best buy. I Got managers involved. They said it all got corrected. Got the bill. Still messed up. I had escalate the situation to get what I asked for. Which should of been simple. The only reason I am keeping this product and shop with best buy is for the plans they offer. No one is knowledgeable at any best buy I have been to. Major training needed even for mangers. Noisy noisy product. Just dealing with it!

Pacific sales told me we needed hoses with our new clothes washer. So we bought them and they installed them. The washer actually DID come with hoses, so we didn't need these. After a week's laundry with loud water hammer noises every time the washer turned the water on and off. I swapped out these hoses for the ones that came with the washer, and that LG recommended using. LG specifically said in the manual NOT to use 3rd party hoses. The LG hoses have a larger inside diameter, and with them installed, there were no more water hammer thumps. These are undoubtedly good hoses, but there were not needed, and they caused a problem for us.
