Our dryer was supplied without a cord and is purchased separately. You will need to know if your new dryer will plug into a three of four prong electric wall outlet.

I have done DIY electrical work in the past and it's nice to have detailed intructions. If you are not comfortable it may be safer to have someone experienced do the electrical work for you, it's a 10 minute job to hookup.

Durable and safe

I was kinda nervous plugging it in at first even with the power turned off but once I flicked the switch on there was no cause for concern. No spark, and perfect size for my dryer.

Great product

I buy this cord for my new dryer, because the seller from Best Buy told me that no cord come with the dryer. But I found out a cord is come with when the dryer was delivery to me. Finally I made a decision to use the original cord, so I refund this one.
