Make sure you know beforehand how many wires you need and what shape your prongs are laid out in. I assumed I would be able to hook up my dryer in the kitchen using the 220 outlet for the stove, but the prongs were slightly different and I had to make another trip to the store to replace the receptacle.

No grey area here , get the exact Power Cord

There is no grey area on this part...it HAS to be EXACTLY what the power cord needs are , between the house and your appliance . Anything that's not exact could damage.... 1.Your Appliance 2.Your Wiring in your House 3. Your House Not worth that risk. Be precise,be Safe Again; No Grey area here!

Little expensive Be careful with the metal wndings, if you twist or pressure them too much these could come off and hard to put it back. Pricey compared to other in the market.

I did not know which dryer plug would be needed (theres one that has 3 prongs and 1 that has 4). Had to exchange it to get the right one but it was very easy to install as they made the wires color coded.

3 WIRE CORD FOR DRYER

I got the 3 wire version because it is much easier to install to the dryer. It was a better price than the price they were asking at the appliance store.
