Nice kit, but do you need it?

However the kit is slightly overpriced and unnecessary. The dryer does come with the "y" fitting, which is necessary. The fitting with the dryer is plastic and the one in the kit is brass. The install is very easy. If you can connect a garden hose, you can do the install yourself. You can buy the hose at any hardware or building supply store. The kit is not a terrible deal. The parts are high quality. Just saying if you want to save a few bucks, you can easily do so here.

Old was essentially the same brand, etc. showing quality and longevity as it was about ten years old. Return process easy!

Another large appliance dealer, ABT Appliance installed very cheep version of this connection for me 3 years ago and the very cheep "y" fitting rotted out and did $9,000.00 worth of damage before we were able to locate the problem and shut off the water.
