Returned item as installation team used old one after putting in new rubber washers. Old was essentially the same brand, etc. showing quality and longevity as it was about ten years old. Return process easy!

These hoses look tough. Pretty too. No leaks tight seals. My guess is that they will be good for many years at least longer than rubber hoses.

You must purchase this kit if you want the delivery crew to make the steam connection to your dryer. However the kit is slightly overpriced and unnecessary. The dryer does come with the "y" fitting, which is necessary. The fitting with the dryer is plastic and the one in the kit is brass. The install is very easy. If you can connect a garden hose, you can do the install yourself. You can buy the hose at any hardware or building supply store. The kit is not a terrible deal. The parts are high quality. Just saying if you want to save a few bucks, you can easily do so here.

I went to HD and Ace and thought I was crazy. Went to best buy and they had exactly what I needed. Good Quality and perfect fit.

Similar kit is included with Samsung steam dryer I purchased, however delivery guys failed to install and took all materials away after delivery. While item included by Samsung is made of rubber, it would have been free. However this kit is stainless steel and should have a much longer life. As compensation for the error made by the delivery/install team, they discounted this item by 50% which made it a reasonable upgrade to the part included by Samsung.
