This kit was used on the new washer/dryer installation, and was of good quality. Another large appliance dealer, ABT Appliance installed very cheep version of this connection for me 3 years ago and the very cheep "y" fitting rotted out and did $9,000.00 worth of damage before we were able to locate the problem and shut off the water.

I bought a new dryer and it had steam capabilities. This required water hookup for the dryer. This kit had everything in it to allow me to use 1 water line for both the washer and dryer. The hoses are made if quality material and the braided stainless steel DOES prevent kinks. Considering the price, quality material, ease of use and efficiency by allowing the use of 1 water outlet for both the washer and dryer, I would purchase again.

I'm rating a starter kit that came with my washer/dryer combo. I never even seen it since I had installers do all the work. But when I turn on my washer/dryer, everything works, so I assume this item is doing what it is supposed to do.

Allowed the installer I hired to connect the water. So the steam option can work.

I purchased the washer and dryer with the steam feature and they hooked this up so they’re functional. They also showed me so I understood how it was hooked up for the feature I purchased.
