Was surprised at first to learn this was needed when purchasing a dryer, but was happy that the kit contains alternatives so that when the installers arrived, they were able to wire up my new dryer to work with the plug in my wall (there are a couple of different plug types used depending on when your home was built). Did the job and the dryer works great now!

It's important to have a wall connector that won't slip out from jostling, bumping, or from vibrations. This one makes a very secure fit and is just flexible enough to allow proper placement of the dryer while staying firm enough to not dangle or get caught in things.

Installer connected them quite fast. Everything fitted perfectly, and, thus far, it is functioning well.

This was an item (power cord) that was 'bundled' with the purchase of my new LG washer/dryer combo. I might have been able to purchase one cheaper, or perhaps even better, at local home improvement store, but this one worked perfectly on the installation, offered immediate power on initial use, and the added convenience made it worth any price. I'm glad Best Buy made the choice, guaranteeing a perfect fit, or they'd make it good.

Flexible installation, did not have to choose 3 or 4 prong dryer cord. Installer had both available and installed the proper cord. Great service! Works well with electric dryer, required (cord is not included with new appliances) unless you already have a cord, but installers will require you to install a new one (they typically won't re-use an existing power cord).
