    Although Best Buy requires the purchase of a water installation kit on every refrigerator that has a water dispenser, they also refund it if you have no plans to install it on the refrigerator.

    If you want ice from your fridge, you cant go without this. Supplies life sustaining water to the ice maker in order to create ice. Once this water is frozen, it can be placed in your beverages to keep cold, or in a bag to put on your childrens boo boos.

    As good as this product is we did not use it because we already had a relatively new flexible SS line in use and hooked up immediately. But, just know that it is only 5-6 feet long and may need to be extended to reach your water line. Plan ahead!

    This Braided stainless steel refrigerator ice maker feed line is a far better choice than using plastic tubing. A real no brainer.

    I was told that the stainless steal waterline kit was better than the copper so they cut the copper and replaced it with the kit. I was able to keep the copper.

    This is great if you are getting a new frig and need to hook up to water. If you are replacing a refrigerator that already had water/ice hook-up, it won’t be needed.

    The installers automatically replaced the water line with a stainless steel braided water line. I was not aware that I they were to do the installation of the new water line, but very grateful they did. They were in and out in less than 15 min.
