    Love this hose. It’s way better than the previous copper one I had which would kink when I would pull out the fridge to clean behind. No off putting taste in the water. Very easy hookup.

    This product could fit for new built houses which has water pipe installed on the wall around refrigerator area. House was built decades ago, like us, requires longer length to connect to sink pipe directly.

    so... it is all about whether you want the ice maker/water dispenser to work. I didn't price search before I bought, it just would have come with and the geek squad folks would have supplied it.

    You will pay extra for the water hose that connects from the water source to the refrigerator and they do recommend (It is mandatory) replacing the old one you have. So make sure you buy it and the installers will hook it up for you. Excellent idea.

    Fittings with rubber seals and stainless steel line is the only way to go. I'll always choose stainless steel ice maker lines over plastic any day. They are more flexible, and less likely to leak in my experience. This is a great product.

    If you’re going to invest in a refrigerator it’s well worth spending a few extra dollars and purchasing a stainless steel waterline. It’s high quality and the water pressure is excellent.
