    These braided lines are way better than the cheap little plastic tubing you can buy. I've had the plastic tubing pop a hole and then there goes the flooring before you figure out what's going on.

    I wasn't sure why i needed this because my older fridge that i bought about 4 years ago has a waterline that i thought i could use. The new one looks better and is more durable. Well to me newer is always better.
