The Smart Choice- Semi-Rigid Dryer Vent kit, was flexible enough to make it around a curve to be attached to vent that leads outof house

We bought the Smart Choice - Semi-Rigid Dryer Vent Kit Required for Hook-Up - Silver to our washer purchase to be installed with our LG washer. The product works great and hook-up was easy.

We didn't have to set this up, so I have no idea how difficult or easy it was, but we haven't had any issues since, so I assume it's great.

First I thought it is a gimmick (over sell), but glad I bought because I didn’t notice the one I had was worn out.

Always buy the install kit you never know if yours is going to work and besides, if you’re replacing your product, it’s probably been in there for many many years. Pay the price get the job done the first time.

Holds a solid yet flexible shape. Much better than the normal flimsy ones that come with dryers.

All the parts you need to install a new or refurbish an old dryer vent connection. The rigid aluminum pipe is superior to the vinyl type as it does not degrade over time and will not leak when properly installed.

More of a write up about Best Buy's installation team/ returns. The installation team saw this was going to be too short for our connection and didn't remove from the packaging so it was easy to return

There is a ledge in our garage that our washer and old dryer sat. Now, when I purchased my wonderful new dryer it didn't fit due to the fact that the vent was taking up all the space (the engineering that went into our landlords garage layout is a joke). Since the vent doesn't have the accordion affect, it was looped and they dryer hung over the ledge. The installation guy's didn't tape the vent just in case we decided to return it if we couldn't get it to fit, which was very thoughtful. We ended up getting 4 wooden blocks to place under the washers front legs and the vent is where it has been since it was installed. Very happy with the product even though it put us in a pinch at first.
