I bought it together with the dryer to get the free installation, plus it is better to buy new parts so you know they will last long and work with your purchase.

No problems with the vent kit. The installation was great.

Had installation done by Best Buy & they brought new necessary connection components. Best to replace old with new when you replace your washer/dryer.

Sadly, the dryer vent is too big for our laundry room, so we had to purchase a flexible hose on-top of this hose. Just make sure you have enough room in your home!

This came as part of our washer and dryer set. Our installers did not have any issues with it for our LG washer and dryer.

It is what it is, a regular dryer vent kit. It needs to be longer though.

This was a required purchase with Best Buy installation. The dryer vents properly so it does what we need. I wish we had gotten a flexible vent, however.

I returned this. I read in the LG manual that the best options were metal ducting with no folds so the lint does not bunch up. I went to the local hardware store and using the rigid venting instead. This did make the install more difficult but I feel there is better air flow with the rigid ducting. This was important in my case due to the long run to the outside of the building ( over 35-40 feet) Remember each bend/curve = 8-10 feet. This is important. If the machine is not vented properly it will lengthen your dry times and use a lot more energy. The LG rep also told not venting the machine properly could void the warranty and damage the machine.

Best Buy has a good habit of recommending / supplying high quality accessories for appliance. This dryer hose was high quality with various angle attachments.

Easy to stretch, bend, and cut. Needed for new dryer install.

Once again the salesmen knew we'd need this and added it to our cart!! Something I wouldn't think of but is very necessary to hook up a new dryer! Thankful for the wisdom of the Best Buy employees!

Found this gem while walking the isles of Best Buy! Was between this and lunch...I chose the dryer vent hookup kit! Easy choice as far as I'm concerned.

Let the delivery guys install this. You should be using a new tube along with your new washer/dryer. But don't do it yourself: The delivery guys do this every day and they do it well.
