No fancy bells or whistles. It isn't a "Smart Vent" or any new age tech that is probably out there. You can find them cheaper in your typical home improvement store but since Best Buy was installing the gas hookup, I was forced to purchase this vent from them, as well. If not forced, I would have saved a few bucks and installed it myself but it was sufficient for what it is.
