Does the job, with modifications

Back in the last century, everyone made washers and dryers that were 24-26" in depth. Now, the only ones in that size are apartment size units. Every one of them is at least 28" deep and if you want your garage access door to function, you have to crush the exhaust hose and mickey-mouse it into a goofy (sorry Disney) periscope adaptor that may or may not work. Its time for dryer makers to recognize this and make outlets more adaptive to a rectangular (vertically) transfer hose that would hook up directly to a yet to be invented rectangular side mounted manifold in the wall. Sometime manufacturers, bigger isnt always better
