Way better than the basic aluminum foil dryer vent!

This product is horrible and a piece of crap. The installer, bless his heart tried his best to make it work but because the venting literally crumbled in his hands as he tried to install this in my house he was unable to make this product work for my dryer. I ended up having to then purchase a secondary vent system in addition and install it MYSELF so my dryer could properly vent and be placed in the proper position. Along the wall in the laundry room. (The install man did at least make my dryer work temporarily so I could purchase a more flexible dryer vent). Not cool Best Buy!!!! If anyone if purchasing a dryer from bestbuy make sure you buy your own venting kit. The vent tubing itself should be more of an Accordion style tubing. Not the Aluminum style that is super cheap and Frail to the touch. Just an Opinion.

Nice new vent kit without holes, for my nice new dryer.

Purchased this as suggested by a sales person. the Dryer Vent Kit works but it is too long. The custom fitted ends and clamps were not used at all.

Easy set up. Good price and dryer working well now.

Kept wondering why it sticks out so much. The dryer kit has elbows for both ends, just by looking at it, common sense would tell you the elbows are to GUIDE the dryer hose through the side that has an indentation so that it would sit back closer to the wall. Best buy installers did not even USE the elbows, but sure CHARGED me for them. The water lines should have gone around the OUTSIDE of the dryer hose, installers put them UNDER the dryer hose, forcing the dryer hose out even further. The installers put this in the MIDDLE of the laundry room which is also the disabled homeowners ONLY ACCESS in & out if the house. He has been TRAPPED IN HIS HOUSE SINCE FEBRUARY 17th! Spoke with SEVERAL customer service (which is a call center in some other country because their accent is so thick I can BARELY understand any of them except one ) who keep telling me they work from home & cannot let me speak to a supervisor . They keep telling me they use a 3rd party delivery/installation service & cannot give me ANY contact info or even the NAME of the business they use. THESE ARE NOT GEEK SQUAD INSTALLERS. Best buy keeps rescheduling another install, but installers DO NOT SHOW UP.

The dryer vent for me didn't work wasn't long enough would have had to buy two of these kits which would have been over $60.00. I would have used the dryer vent kit if I could have just got by with one. Instead I went to local hardware store bought three vent elbows and straight dryer vent taped seams with foil heat tape for around $20.00. Whatever you do DO NOT use plastic venting for these HD dryers to hot for the plastic.
