We previously had the plastic with metal ridges and this appears to be much more sturdy and it hold it's shape much better. It fits well in our situation where the vent in the wall is directly behind the dryer. It appears that it will curve well if needed also.

Enough options in the box for solid dryer hookup

There are enough venting options in the box that the installer shouldn't have any issues getting things up and ready for you. Not much more can really be said since it's something you absolutely need when getting a new dryer!

Fragile/ handle with care

Why pay 100+ dollars for something you can do in seconds with zero experience. I purchased an Amana dryer for 249 and wired it up by following the instruction manual. Piece o cake! The vent was easy to use. Pricier than expected but will last a long time.
