||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We were concerned that because of the limited space in our laundry room, that using this non-flexible vent kit with our new dryer would result in having the dryer sit further forward - taking up even more space. For our old dryer we were using a flexible vent system, but our fears were for naught! This vent system actually is a little flexible and makes the dryer fit perfectly in that space!

It works well, however it seems like it needs to be strapped in to my dryer better. There isn't anything holding it on there so I'm not sure if the people who installed it did so correctly. It hasn't come off when the dryer is working, but if I move the dryer it comes off.

Good and Inexpensive

I was concerned that it was an up-sale but I’m glad that I did it. Not only does it give me peace of mind but it was also required by the City as the old was not in compliance. Very inexpensive.

This piping was installed by the installation team and seems to work well.

Actually I don't think that I need to change it when I bought my new Dryer but the Sales man recommended is better to replace it.

Finally a dryer vent that isn't cheap plastic

Finally the cats tore a hole in it with their claws and it was time for a new vent. I wanted a vent that was not as thin as a plastic bag. Best buy had this one that was study, strong and appeared reliable. It is withstanding the cats so far. Appears to be a good sturdy vent.
