Required "new" accessories when u purchase and get dryer installation. But everything worked great, perfect fit. so no complaints here, and price was comparable to if I had bought elsewhere. Makes installation easy and fast. This vent was very thick and rock solid compared to the flimsy thin one I had previously. So quality was nice.

So like a lot of others, I do most of my own home stuff myself. I realize I can go to the depot or the lowe place and get these things myself and save money, or just try to mod and use the existing stuff. And I realize this is a little pricey. But, couple things: given that the existing stuff is probably many years old and likely has a good amount of internal buildup, given that I'm installing a NEW dryer and given that this kit most likely has all I probably need, it's worth considering...I hesitated at first but figured I wanted new interconnects and didn't want to fight the traffic and crowds to save $20 (in my case). Now we all know that if you need to look to find something in those stores, you'll be getting your exercise so plan on lotsssssa time! Depends on your situation, I guess.

Glad the washer and dryer I purchased came equipped with this. Did not need to buy separately!! Blessing!

The installers made a quick job of installing this vent. It was of a sturdier construction the the previous one I had purchased at a do-it-yourself store, and the part that attaches to the dryer has flexibility regarding the direction the vent will run but is sturdy enough to withstand some banging around as the dryer was moved against the wall. Best Buy chose this one for the installation and they chose well.

This is a great dryer. It has a great design, so it's easy to use and clean. I like that it's efficient, too. It dries my clothes quickly and doesn't leave them wrinkled. I would definitely recommend this dryer to anyone looking for a good quality, reliable dryer.

When it comes to dryer, always use good quality vent hoses like this one. It's quality is good and it comes with everything you need for your new dryer vent installation. incredible venting . this vent is by far the best vent ever sold .its round and long with a nice shine . semi rigid hose is much better then that old rigid hose you parents used to use . its bends but also stays firm when needed . great product

Purchased this along with a new Dryer at the Marysville, WA. Location. At the same time I also purchased a new oven. I bought both at the same time along with an Installation of both AND a haul away of the old dryer and oven. This was to to be done on the same day and I made double sure right there that it was in the contract/receipt of purchase, since I had to may sure someone was home at that specific date for the delivery/install/haul away. Well, on the day that all of this was supposed to happen the delivery drivers dropped off the oven/dryer in the garage. When asked about the install and haul away, they said they didn't know about that, and drove off, leaving the new oven/dryer in the garage. Of course I was very upset about this since I had to plan my work week around this one day so this could all get done at the SAME time as I PAID for in the contract. I immediately called Best Buy, was shuffed around to 5 (Yes actually 5) different people, got two different case numbers, bui not a single person could remedy the situation and/or tell me why the delivery team could NOT do the install/haul away as contracted, or even tell me when the install/haul away could be done. Even more frustrated with the whole situation, I physically went back to the Marysville WA Best Buy the next day. I asked to speak with a manager and was introduced to Supervisor Jackie T. This is where my experience was completely turned around to the 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating. I would give the first install team a 1 ⭐, but Jackie and the actual team that did the install/haul away deserve a 5 star, so in this review, I won't let the first delivery drivers ruin this for them. Jackie was professional and followed up immediately by setting up a new date for the installation any haul away of the old oven/dryer. The new date was 8 days away, but she said she would follow through with me in the next couple of days and do her best to get a sooner appointment. True to her word, she efficiently followed through via my email and got me an appointment two days away. I really appreciated her follow through in fixing this delema. On the day of the install/haul away the team of Devein and Jamal did the job. You should be so lucky if you get these two! Very effiecient, hard working, they did a fantastic job at the install and haul away of the old oven/dryer. They were very fast and cleaned up the area in a snap! Overall, I am very pleased with the follow they of Jackie, Jamal and Devein. Thank you very much for correcting what could have been a disaster. Craig

We all know a good piece of hardware/appliance is useless without certain requirements. This accessory is one of those items. Fit perfectly, easy to install, couldn't be happier with the quality of this fantastic accessory!

While there was nothing inherently wrong with the dryer vent kit which was a required purchase from Best Buy, the first installers (Geek Squad), who couldn't do install until ten (10) days after purchase, advised that we needed a new electric outlet AND that the vent kit (again required purchase) may not fit. After replacing the electric outlet and assuring the adequacy of the outside venting for hose attachment, the second installers (again 2 Geek Squad) came a week later and quickly said they couldn't hook up vent kit because it was too short and elbows wouldn't fit in tight space at outside outlet. They advised us to shop on line for longer hose vent kit in same brand as required Best Buy purchase, or another if necessary. Raised questions about honoring warranty with such changes, and also additional time and expense on my part. At this point I called the store appliance rep from whom we'd made the washer/dryer purchase. He responded quickly and efficiently by setting up an appointment late the same day with an independent appliance service contractor at Best Buy expense to do the installation. Interestingly he merely connected aluminum vent hose directly to the outside vent with ring clamp and aluminum heat tape, used the elbow connection for the dryer itself, and connected a new length of aluminum vent hose to the one provided with foil heat tape. The entire process took about 30 minutes. Best Buy needs to seriously evaluate their methodology for installations.

This product is a good quality and it is very flexible, even though it is behind, I can pull the dryer a little forward and clean the back easily because of the flexibility.

This is a pretty decent dryer vent for the price. The materials are of good quality and it was easy to install. My only gripe is the clasp could be a better quality, but otherwise good purchase if you need a new vent for your dryer.

Quality venting got my new dryer. Easy to install and so far is holding up well with heavy use. Installation staff were done in no time and I was up and running.
