It's a dryer vent... and you have to have it.

After all, you usually go a good 20+ years between dryers, and most people NEVER think about cleaning the vent, which can be come a fire hazard. It's usually aluminum, so the old one can be recycled. This works as advertised.

Is a bit thick as I have to put extra distance from the wall to my dryer to allow it to vent comfortably without crushing it. Would like to push my washer in closer to the wall, but that would compromise the vent's sturdiness and ability to let air flow out from it.

Unfortunately, my wall vent did not allow the delivery guys to connect the exhaust hose (had to go buy an outside vent and install it myself). Hooking up the exhaust hose was quick and easy once I had something to hook it to.

Get a Vent Kit. Eliminate your Tribbles.
