It replaced the vent kit on my Kenmore dryer I purchased new in 1998. Because of the risk of fire, it had been replaced many times over the years. I should get years of service from this dryer kit.

Again, would like to see this as included in the purchase instead of an add-on, since it is necessary to operate it with. At least include a basic exhaust and offer an upgrade.

Nicer than the old rib vents

I do believe it is partly responsible for quicker dry times I've experienced with the new dryer since it's not that long curved type with ribs.

I kept it because the installer did need to use one of the clips from the package and I was unable to return it. Would recommend. Saving the vent for when I want to replace the one I have.
