incredible venting . this vent is by far the best vent ever sold .its round and long with a nice shine . semi rigid hose is much better then that old rigid hose you parents used to use . its bends but also stays firm when needed . great product

I was somewhat surprised that this product was much better than the vent kit that I had on my old dryer. It’s as stated that it’s semi-rigid and seems to be well made. I’m glad I replaced the old when having the new dryer installed. Also, it was required for certified installation hook-up.

This kit was used by Best Buy install on a new steam dryer. The kit includes clamps as well as metal heat tape for seams. My take here is, don’t be discouraged that Best Buy makes you purchase this with an install. Why pair a beautiful new appliance with old, dusty venting that likely leaks? I’m happy to enjoy decades of use now with this vent kit and the exhaust vent I installed on the outside of the house.

This set really was the finishing touch to my dryer install. The dryer outlet was older and the opening was a different size. The installer was able to use this and make it fit perfectly. Highly recommend to purchase this with the dryer to make sure your install goes smoothly.

I returned it as the existing vent was much easier to work with and had a tight enough connection -- this was on the advice of the Geek Squad installer. As rigid vents go, this one is well made but a bit short. I am not sure which hookup situations it would work in.

When i opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised at the sturdiness of the vent. The connectors are all metal and the clamps are adequate for the job. I would suggest watching a YouTube video if you've never done this, but the instructions are very clear. One bit of advice... don't stretch the vent out any more than you need to; it does not retract. But you can cut it off shorter. I am happy with the product.

This product is a good quality and it is very flexible, even though it is behind, I can pull the dryer a little forward and clean the back easily because of the flexibility.

Quality is great. Super easy install and great quality parts. But it is bulky and requires lots of space behind the dryer

Straightforward and simple. Not hard to setup, but could use an adapter for the wall side, as ours was a larger size than the hose. Likely our house is to blame though, so still four stars.

I purchased this semi-rigid dryer vent kit when I purchased my new Samsung dryer. I wasn't about to use the old vent kit which was roughly 5 years old and was installed on my old dryer. The old vent was in need a change and this Smart Choice kit fit the bill. It is well made and installed very easy. A very good purchase for peace of mind. You can't go wrong with this vent kit.
