I purchased this semi-rigid dryer vent kit when I purchased my new Samsung dryer. I wasn't about to use the old vent kit which was roughly 5 years old and was installed on my old dryer. The old vent was in need a change and this Smart Choice kit fit the bill. It is well made and installed very easy. A very good purchase for peace of mind. You can't go wrong with this vent kit.

Quality is great. Super easy install and great quality parts. But it is bulky and requires lots of space behind the dryer

So our clothes dry in a very timely manner. I assume that is partially because the dryer itself is good, and partially beacuase this vent kit is well made and vents the dryer properly.

Fit very well, high quality product easy too install

This item was a wise adjunct purchase to the new dryer. It was much easier to deal with than the old vent duct. It is also sturdier and appears to be able to last much longer than the unit it replaced. Glad I added it to the list of items to accompany the installation of the new dryer.

great replacement for existing duct which I had removed and trashed. Needed to replace it anyway. like the 90 degree angle adapter made it so much easier to snug the dryer to the wall. Easy to install, slip on adapter, connect to wall opening, two clamps that tightened with just a few turns of the screwdriver (electric screwdriver made it that much easier).

Glad I purchased this dryer vent kit. When the new dryer was installed, it was obvious that the old vent kit had to be replaced.

Durable vent for dryer installation. Technicians very easily made it the right size, and installed it in a very efficient manner. I have had bad experiences with dryer vents before, so it is good to know that I have a properly sized vent, and it appears to be much less fragile than the ones I have used in the past.

Dryer vent? What's the big deal. I've had dryer vents forever: a little aluminum foil wrapped around a slinky, right? This thing is amazing. It's got real connectors (like a solid right angle piece). Somewhat actually thought about the design. No more worries about the vent being crushed when you push the dryer back against the wall, no more crimping at the point of connection to the dryer. It's got to help the dryer. Spend the few extra bucks. And throw away that old slinky.
