Essential product for completing the installation of my new dryer

This kit hooked up and fit fine for my application. Always check the space between the dryer and outlet to make sure the hose won't be too long or short. Allow space to move dryer out and then back towards wall!

I have that service that Best Buy install my appliances for minimal additional fee. It is great and inexpensive. Hiring an outside person to install is usually at least one hundred dollars or more. Love it when they deliver the product and install it for you. Make sure before leaving the store you bought all the necessary hoses and parts that are required to installed the appliances. It is recommended not to use existing old parts in the installation of new appliances. Just a thought

The air vent in my house for the dryer is angular instead of straight at the back of the dryer. The quality of this vent kit looked good, but not compatible. I have returned to Bestbuy.

Wow, this thing bends as it's supposed to. It's amazing and has been reliable ever since being installed.

The part was purchased for our gas dryer. Despite being 8 feet long this piece was still too short to hook up where it needed to go to exit our home. The installation team needed to add several sections of hard duct. This cost extra money. However, the piece itself seems to be working just fine.

Seriously, what's to review? It connects, it's decent quality, and it makes the dryer work. As it turns out, I returned this one, because my previous vent kit was able to be reused (this might be a no-no, but oh well).

This item makes hooking up your new steam dryer a breeze. Make sure you pick one up if you're having your dryer delivered, because BB system does not recommend it when checking out. If you don't have it on hand, the installers won't hook up the steam feature.

Same kind I had for the old dryer. It's the best you can get.

Once you get this on, it works great. It comes with two elbow and is difficult to get the elbows on and to stay on. The elbows are a bit bulky as well and cause the dryer to stick out a little further than desired.

How to get a new vent cover with the purchase of my new dryer well worth it

We got this instead of plastic because I didn't want to worry about the vent ripping. Works great but we had to move our vent to the outside because these wouldn't not make the corner effectively. Nothing against the product. it was just how out dryer was set up. Just something to keep in mind.

This rigid dryer vent is a very nice upgrade to the old flexible dryer vent that we all have to use. I had Best Buy install the dryer but I really like the rigid vent because it, by default, can't kink up and create a natural place for lint that gets past the filter to clog the vent.

While not exciting, these things make all the difference: your dryer needs to vent properly or else it won’t function properly. This is as good an option as what else we saw, and it was recommended by Best Buy. Good price, too.

Dryer vents are pretty simple, but one size doesn't fit all. This works well with the mechanics of our laundry room. Cheap hoses can get kinked and create a real lint trap. Why risk a fire?

When replacing a dryer, you should replace the vent. It is all part of the installation process. There is nothing to dislike about it.
