Gave this 4 out of 5 stars only because the bracket foot does slip off my vinyl siding (not sure if it is the type I have or bracket's fault) I remedy this by placing 2 stainless steel screws just below it to keep it in place. Very sturdy design my unit is about 100 lbs. and does not move at all. Excellent attachment system to window sill with many angles to cover many installation situations.

This bracket is of good quality, we were not able to use it because it didn't fit our small custom window. Nonetheless the quality is good. We returned this it for a full refund. We appreciate best buys rerun policy thanks

Heavy duty brace. Easy to install. Works great. Recommend for heavy AC.

First, this unit seems well made, although the attachment to the window sill seems to be a bit of overkill. It was easy to install, however, and does what it claims. Now, for the bad part, which is all on me, but I am sharing in the hopes that nobody else makes the same mistake: The salesman convinced me to get the 'big' version for our 80 lb, 12k BTU a/c by showing the length of the support against the box. What neither he nor I thought about as the fact that 5-6" of the a/c would be INSIDE the house. As a result, I am more than covered weight-wise, but the end of this support arm sticks out about 4" from the end of the a/c unit, which is not very attractive and actually is a minor hazard, as the a/c hangs out onto our deck and can be walked into. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this until the a/c was already in the window, and I am not about to uninstall it in order to return the support for the correct size. At the end of the season, when I remove the unit, I will 'modify' the support with my hacksaw for use in subsequent years.

Holds up the airconditioner good, i never had to worry about it falling down or anything!

It seemed like this larger size was actually going to be too small but with some maneuvering under very tight conditions, I was able to get all the prices to be screwed into the window frame to line up.

The bracket is sturdy and easy to install. I recommend this product.

Does what they need to do. They come out the window rather big. So dont be shy, use these badboys for a big a.c like 14,000 btu lol

Installed bracket in about 30 minutes all you need is a drill and a screwdriver and 2 nut wrenches or to pliers the large bracket is holding my GE 12,000 btu air conditioner just fine.

It was for my AC I purchased at best buy love it fits perfect

Orginally bought this for "in case we need it" turned out to be a life saver. The A/c we bought came with a support but they were only 3" long. This definately saved the day
