I recommend taking your time, being patient and reading the instructions a few times. Also, best to plan out how you are going to do it and go over it a few times to avoid frustration

I must say that the installation process was not easy! You need a professional construction drill to be able to put the screws in. I spend several hours using an Ikea drill and finally, asked my friend to bring a bigger one. You have to drill the brick wall, so the installation is not easy. Otherwise, this thing does the job!:)

Didn’t really fit sill and has strippable screws

I carefully followed instructions and finally got it screwed into my sill. Only to find it would not fit my old (1924) house sill and window casing. So I had to leave off the part that hits the side of the house, and use the horizontal support only. Another major issue are the huge Phillip’s head screws that stripped too easily. It’s in, but not sure I’ll be able to get the screws out of the support, for Pre-Winter removal. If you have a newer house and Pre-drill all screw holes, you will be happy!
