I bought a bunch of appliance from Bestbuy back in September including this Floodlight and was adviced to get the Geek Squad Tech Support added because I was told that they can install it and at the same time save money on the install, and so I did. I bought the flood light back in September 12,2021. And the closest date they can install the product was October 1,2021 which is 3 weeks out. And since I got no choice I agreed and waited. Come October 1st, after the 3 weeks of waiting. The Geek Squad guy named Glen came only to say "I cannot install you flood light because you don't have an existing line to your wall yet and we are not allowed to put a line through your wall in case something happens" I was frustrated and disappointed so I wrote and put out a review about my bad experience and even called Bestbuy Resolution Center which was also of no help at all. After my review posted. I got a call from Bestbuy and was asking me more about my experience and perhaps they can resolve the issue and so I told him what had happened. I told him that I will be returning the flood light back for the fact that they cannot install it. I was then told that, the information given to me buy the tech guy that came in was wrong and I don't need to return the item because Best buy can send a 3rd party contractors that can put a line on my wall and get the flood light installed at no extra cost and that I should just go to a Best Buy store and talked to a Geek Squad agent to get that schesule. He told me tha he will be putting a not on my account about it. So I went to Bestbuy in Saginaw MI and told them the issues I've had had (because I have other issues with Geek Squad aside from this) including my issue with tthe flood light. The girl I spoke with at Geek Squad told me the same story and said that they CAN get a line put in my wall and get my flood light installed and she confirmed it with one of the other Geek Squad agent at the store. The problem they said was that the person who scheduled my install initially used to wrong installation code so now they are fixing it and will schedule the install again but the closest they can do it was October 15,2021. I agreed even though I was already frustrated and disappointed for the lack of compensation for my inconvenience. So I again waited for another 2wks. Come October 15,2021, I got a call from the tech guy who was suppose to come out. He is the same guy who came out the first time and was asking and confirming with me if I already have a line installed through my wall? I told him NO because I was told that it is part of the installation code/order that the Geek Squad agent from the Saginaw store put in. BUT LO and BEHOLD, the guy told me that it is the same code and he still CANNOT install the floodl light unless I already have a line in place. I have been waiting more than a whole month and still I have a useless flood light in its box that no one from Geek Squad can install. So now I have to drive back to the Bestbuy store in Saginaw MI which is 30mi from my home just to return this useless flood light. Imagine my Frustration and Disappointment.

Looks great and works great. Haven’t had any issues as of yet.

Excellent overall expertise service camera works really well

The agent installed 4 Ring motion/cameras, one of which was very difficult to reach on the second-floor eaves, He did it perfectly and then gave my husband wonderful, detailed instructions on how to use the devices. He even came the next day to explain it all to me, since I could not be at home for the installation. Can't say enough about how good he was!

The agents did an excellent job installing a flood light ring camera that was defective! Twice! Best Buy is… well, the Best! They replaced the floodlight on the spot and came within a week and got my camera running properly. Very efficient.

Flood Light installation was perfect. Technician was courteous, efficient and explained and demonstrated everything.

They installed my back camera and door bell and set up my phone for me.

We purchased ring door bell and motion activated camera. The staff were very knowledgeable and helped guide us to purchase the equipment appropriate for our needs. Installation was smooth for ring door bell however, the motion activated lights/camera required 2 visits. This could have been better explained. After, we are happy and satisfied with the equipment and instruction provided. Would recommend.

Work great. I would recommend letting geek squad install

The geek squad came in to install the ring floodlight and the ring doorbell. The person who did the installation was very competent and patient ( we needed to find the right circuit breaker to switch off the existing floodlight's power which took some time. He spent tome helping us set up the system and to optimize the positioning as well as the sensitivity. No mess and no mistakes. Very satisfied with the service. If you are someone who doesn't have the time or maybe not the inclination for installation I wound highly recommend the geek squad.

A+ works great the view is acceptable is see all I need to see and love the fact I don't have to be there

We have not issues with the installation. The television works perfectly. The reason for the 4 stars is because we were disappointed that installers were not able hide the cords inside the wall.

The contractors installed both floodlight cameras without any problems.
