I have owned two other smart folios with previous iPads, and this one is a perfect fit for my iPad. I have had other covers which are either too bulky or too cumbersome to open easily. The Apple Smart Folio is very easy to attach with the magnetic back. It protects the iPad very well, and it sets up easily as a stand for it. I am very happy with my purchase.

Love this for my iPad! Easy to fold up and around the iPad and a good prop up on it to watch movies or lay on a desk to draw

Good protection for i pad pro. Easy to use on jobsites with customers. Keyboard easily detaches when going to be in dusty environment. (Contractor)

Has a premium feel to it and I love how this fits over the front and back of the device. Only complaint is the texture of the exterior leaves fingerprints on it and needs to be cleaned regularly. Expensive for what it is, wait for it to go on sale.

Good folio, really only useful for a stand and cover. I find myself often grabbing the folio and having it completely detach from my iPad.

I love how light this Smart Cover is. I used to have a cheaper generic brand cover which was much heavier and clunky, When it started to warp, I got this one. In hindsight, wish I would have bought the Apple Smart Cover with my iPad.

It gets cold but is light and protects the neck of the screeen

Does a good job at keeping my Ipad scratch free and protects the Screen as well.

Don’t waste your money. I thought this iPad Air Case Folio would be as good as the previous case I’ve had. The iPad just lays on top of this folio with nothing securing it to the case. The one on the left is my old iPad case that my iPad actually fit snugly into. This piece of garbage is going back. I’ve dropped my iPad a few times with the old case and it never budged from the folio. The new case, the iPad will pop right out of. Apple can do better than this for the money. Disgusted to pay this much for an Apple case and this is what shows up.

Sleek and modern, way better than I expected and the white looks like it will last based on reviews and the store display.

Not a great case, it gets dirty quickly and it doesn’t really protect the ipad.

This folio is nothing more than a vinyl wrapped piece of cardboard with a magnet inside, there is no type of protection if you drop your ipad and for $70 I expected more. I have since returned it.

I stood in the iPad case/cover/portfolio isle for several minutes, trying to figure out which would protect the best, last the longest, and not break the bank. In the end, it was a Best Buy employee who helped me make the decision. He picked this one up, took it out of the box and asked if he could put my iPad in it and show me how well it worked. When I saw how it could stay on the iPad without having to CLIP on to the edges, but simply magnetically, I was sold. It's a higher price, but I think it will last FAR beyond other options on the market, and I LOVE that it doesn't cover anything along the sides (charging port, speakers, etc)

Great design with high quality materials. Fits like a glove and is functionally an integrated part of an iPad Air. It preserves the beautiful form factor of the iPad and does not add much weight. The two standing configurations are functional; as usual, a bit pricey for what it is; but no third party folio comes close to the overall aesthetics, fitment, and functions.

This Smart Folio gives your iPad Air all around protection, in a light weight form. I like the fact that it covers the back of the iPad, to prevent scratches or nicks. If you are looking for something less bulky, as most cases seem to be, then this is one to buy.

I love Apple’s official smart cases for the ease of use and their great quality look. I wanted a case that can attach to my iPad Air 4 magnetically so that I don’t have to struggle getting the device out of the case, putting it back in and warping the edge of the line case. Reason why I do this is so that I can attach it to the Magic Keyboard when needed, and then when I travel somewhere that doesn’t require my keyboard, I can put it in the folio to ensure it is safe. With the smart folio, it easily attaches via magnet. Too easy. Now there are third party imitations out there that I have used, but the corners soon begin to erode and fall apart. I’ve had the Apple one for sometime now and it is still holding together after being placed in my bag and tossed around in there. As I work in the hospital, I use my iPad for many occasions and need to clean it a lot. The smoothness of the case makes cleaning a breeze. Great product and I am very pleased with it.
