Great little device, easy to use and very effective.

I can truly see a difference after using this product for 6 months

The crack of the laser, the very bright flash like a bolt of lighting striking your body, and the wonderful smell of burning hair takes a little bit of getting used to the first few times. Now I'm like a wizard with it! Hair doesn't grow back as fast as it used to. And becomes less and less after each use.

Have been wanting to get one for a while. I'm glad I did, works great.

So far so good, super easy to use and it can get into a lot of places

the wife loves it, she already thinking of giving one as a presents.

I’ve had this for maybe a month. So I have used it mostly for the legs. I can say that this works a lot since I don’t shave that much anymore after the two weeks I’ve used it. It would hurt a bit on the underarm area. I do suggest maybe regular use for results to show.

I’ve only used it twice now and so far it definitely works, you can tell by the bit of pain in denser hair areas. What I don’t like is that the skin color detection on the machine will stop the laser from functioning if your skin is too dark or even too light, so it works on most of my body but stops sometimes on my armpits.

This is an interesting product. At first glance, you'd look at this and say "How the heck is this going to help me not grow hair?" - Whatever the research behind it is, it works. The device is about the size of a mens handheld electric shaver, or maybe a medium size baking potato. It has a power cord that goes to a power brick, then plugs into the wall. The cord between the IPL device and the power brick is quite long, as well as the cord that goes into the power brick is a somewhat standard type that is detachable and can easily be extended if need be - handy if you don't have an outlet near your mirror. The unit comes with some basic instructions, most important of which is the do's and don'ts - which you need to read thoroughly. There's a chart that lets you know which skin tones that this device will work with, and if you have a very dark skin tone OR have recent tanning/sun exposure you are warned not to use the device to avoid damage to your skin. When you plug in the device, it has a very formidable sounding fan that lets you know there's some serious energy being used. Operation is pretty simple - you place it against your bare skin and press the button. You can tap the button for one-off flashes or you can hold it down and move the device around the treatment area and it will continuously flash, up to 100x per minute if you can last that long. You'll want to use the individual flash feature for more sensitive areas like the chin or bikini area, and you can likely get away with the continuous method for larger, more durable areas like the legs or arms. The unit does have a sensor to know whether or not it is being pressed against a valid skin tone before activating the flash. My wife has the most consistent results here so I will post about her experience. She has a lighter Mediterranean complexion with lovely medium brunette hair. Let's face it - some women get unwanted facial hair and this was her target area. She would lightly shave the area and then use the IPL device on the area once a week for the past six weeks. After four weeks of treatment, she has definitely noticed a slowing of the growth of unwanted hair on the chin area. After six weeks, the hair is still growing in, but VERY slowly. Treatment for her face takes all of about a minute, and that's likely a liberal estimate of the time taken. All in all, this unit gets a five star rating for results. The flash that the unit puts off is a very unique sensation. It essentially looks like a camera flash unit from a small camera, and puts out a short but loud click and burst of heat when it's pressed against your skin, which is startling at first, but after you have used the device a few times you get used to the sensation. I will admit that going in we were somewhat skeptical of the results, but after using this device all doubt has been cast aside. This device works, and costs a fraction of what treatments at a med spa would cost - and can be done in minutes in the comfort of your own home.

Purchased by my SO and this is what I've gathered: After a month and a half with use once a week, there has been no noticeable results. You're in it for the long haul with this, so you'll definitely be well outside the return period before you find out if it actually helps.

So far so good. I've used this for six weeks now and can definitely tell a difference. The only thing that is a little negative is that it takes a lot longer to use it than it says (for me anyway)

I'll admit I was a bit skeptical when I was introduced to a light-based permanent hair removal system. The short answer is Yes - it works, but it takes time and persistence to see the results. Not to be confused with LASER hair removal, this is IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) that is directed at the hair follicle to get results. Some people have mentioned a slight tingling sensation - also like a sunburn - in very specific locations. To see results, follow the instructions and clean/shave the area first. I tested on my a particular area of my back, my wife tested on a small area of her leg. Both did show reduced hair growth - which was quite exciting! Our testing technique used the Stamp mode pulse - meant for smaller areas. The Glide more is for larger area like the whole back or whole leg. The treatment can be done quickly, but the instruction and box say you can do the whole body in 10 minutes. I find that a bit hard to believe, but maybe if you get more efficient and consistent over time. The hardest part for us was not overlapping the stamp mode pulses - or missing areas in between. I suppose the Glide mode would have just worked better for us. Overall we intend to keep using the device on more areas of the body. It doesn't come with a case or bag, so it's a jumbled mess in my drawer. That would have been a good option to include.

Still using it, it will take time to know how well it works like 6 months, but the review is required before that to get bonus points from Best Buy.

This works well and after a month of uses I do notice a difference. I think the only down fall is remembering to use it weekly.

This thing really works seeing results in two weeks already. Happy with my purchase. Don’t forget wearing safety glasses during use.
