I’m new to this IPL. Great has unlimited laser pulse flashes. However, this unit was a bit bulkier than a competitor model which also had an attachment to use on my upper lip. So, since I ordered two IPL units to compare and Decided to return this unit

Bought this for my wife. She likes it for the ease of use. Not the same as the lasers most spa clinics are using but it’s also effective especially if you are going to use this as a maintenance.

Feels a little like a hot rubber band popping when you first apply it but no complaints other that. Used it for a couple weeks and the hair growth is already reduced

I wish I could give a complete review, however I've only used this one time. Nothing wrong with the product, I am just a bit lazy. I advise to read the instructions through before you use this, pay close attention to pre-use skin preparations.

Honestly works amazing. I was skeptical at first of it causing skin issues but with PROPER use you will not get any of that. Obviously still possible, but there’s warning labels so please just read. Recommend 100%

It does the work. I wish it was more powerful for my legs though . I used it on my face. It works great. I used it underarm pits. It works great .

I’m gonna be smoother than J. Lo’s butt when I’m done using this. Irritates the skin a bit but def worth it to not have to go to get laser treatments.

I definitely have notice a difference in growth. Much less and slower. You do have to keep up with it though and it does take time to see results

It does a good job overall. As long as you purchase this with the understanding that it won’t immediately zap your hair, it’s worth a buy.

Its a great system and works as intended. If you want to help reduce the time it takes to regrow your hair thisnis the product for that.

This IPL device is really easy to use, so much more than I thought it would be. Just read the instructions enclosed and/or watch the video on the Smoothskin Pure web page. I did both to get a visual understanding to make sure I had it completely correct for the first use and thereafter, if needed for “touch ups”. The guide does state not to use it above the cheek area. DO NOT use this device in the same areas more than once a week. It usually takes 12 weeks to complete the process. If “touch ups” are needed thereafter, use it once a month. There are 3 different modes to choose from for your hair denseness, so chose which one is right for you. Clean your device per directions after use each time you use it. After reading and/or watching the video, simply plug the device in, put the window area firmly against the skin and hit the start button in the middle to activate and use the button each time you move it to another spot in the area you are working on. The instructions say to be sure NOT to overlap an area you have finished, as you go along the area. The sensor automatically senses your skin tone and sets itself to your type of skin. Again, make sure to read the instructions thoroughly before using it for further details and understanding I may have omitted. The user guide states that you may feel a tingling sensation or warmth. I felt a warm sensation the first few times and then it gradually stopped completely. No tingling of any sort. One of the best things about this product is that there are unlimited flashes. Flashes are to indicate the device is working and tells you to move on to the next area when it stops. Some other IPLs use cartridges and you are limited to how many flashes you get out of it. This doesn’t need any cartridge, so you don’t have to worry about refills. You can use this on just about all skin tones from light to dark tones. This device is NOT to be used on very dark skin tones. Unfortunately if you have very light color hair in different areas (white, blonde or red) this may not work for you in those particular areas, but in other slightly darker areas you could use it. Being a natural blonde, the hair on my arms are an extremely light color almost white and very sparse, so I did not try it in those areas yet, but my under arms and legs are darker and it is working out GREAT! I have no complaints. I have noticed less hair growth gradually over the 6 weeks I have used it and am amazed that it would work that quickly and easily. After my 6 week trial, I have very small areas that I still need to work on and can now concentrate on just those areas, don’t forget to always shave areas being done before use. Once a month is recommended for “touch ups”. Some people may not find the results as quickly as I did and it may take up to 12 weeks to achieve the complete results, but it will be worth it, be patient. This device is a REAL time saver vs constantly shaving and this gives a very smooth look. I am very lucky and it seems that my hair took quickly to this device treatment. I admit that I was a little leery of trying something like this, but glad I took the step.

I have really enjoyed this Smooth Skin hair removal system. My sister and I are a full six weeks into use, and just had our 7th use. We both used it on our legs, armpits, and upper lip. My sister has slightly darker skin than myself, she is more of an olive tone and I am lighter and have more of a pink tone. My body hair is also lighter than hers. I'm glad we both started use at the same time and stayed on the same schedule because we were able to figure out that I've had a little bit better results. It's not that it does not work for her, my hair just seems to take a little longer to grow back. It took us both about 3 weeks to see a noticeable change in our hair where we used it. I am someone who shaves every single day, even in the winter, because I just like the feeling of smooth skin, especially on my legs. I don't know why I had not considered a product like this before but it has honestly made a huge difference. Before using the SmoothSkin Pure, on the very rare occurrence I skipped shaving, it practically ruined my day. However since using SmoothSkin, I have purposely skipped shaving here and there to see how the device is working, and it is very doable. It's hardly noticeable that I skipped a night and I cannot wait until I am several months into use and it is even less noticeable. This device is very ergonomic and once you find a comfortable position to hold it in it is very easy to use. I really like that I can just hold the button down and drag it and it does all the work, it feels efficient. The feeling of the flash on your skin is just what takes some getting used to. Our first couple uses, we kept it on the lightest setting and once we got used to it, bumped it up to the stronger settings. It mainly feels like a warm pinch and the feeling goes away after a few seconds. We also noticed there's areas where we hardly feel the flashes, and some more sensitive areas like the back of the knee and upper leg, it's not that it is painful, it just is surprising at first and takes some getting used to. Another thing to get used to is the intense flash of light it gives off, even though it is completely against your skin, if you look at it while flashing it's a little uncomfortable and I start seeing spots. I tried looking away but then it's hard to see where you have and have not done yet. I noticed several other devices like this on the market come with some sort of eye protection so I started wearing sunglasses while using and it really helps. That is my only gripe with this product, I would have liked to see it come with eye protection but sunglasses work too. Overall I am extremely happy with this product and would highly recommend it. It's practically a must for women, but for anyone looking for a heavy duty solution to getting rid of unwanted hair, this is definitely the way to go.
