|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using the SmoothSkin Pure Mini Hair Removal System for five weeks now on my legs and under arm area. I am pleased to say that I am starting to see results in both areas. The system says that I should have up tp 97% less hair after just 12 weeks. I am very excited to see those kind of results. The system measures your skin tones with each flash and delivers its output accordingly for personalized results that should deliver longer-lasting results. The system features two comfort settings and three intensity levels. The directions say that a whole body treatment should take 10 minutes - but I have found that it is taking me about double that to treat my legs and under arms. I assume it will get easier and quicker the more I use it. It is very easy to follow the directions provided. The unit is easy to hold with a long cord. It defitnitly would be much more convenient if it was wireless - but I guess that technology isn't there yet. I hope I can continue to work this into my routine so that I can see the results in these areas and more.

She is fair-skinned with many freckles, but we'll withing color guidelines for use. There is a tone chart and instruction booklet that comes with and a precision head for tighter locations. The claim is by 5 to 6 weeks of treatment there should be noticeable growth slowdown. She has used this for 6 treatments both legs and been 6 weeks now. To treat an area, you pre shave and then hold this on you skin and press the button, a bright light will flash and you may or may not feel something. Generally if there was a tiny bit of stubble she felt it more. So far 6 weeks in and we notice no difference in growth. However the product manual reccomends up to 12 weeks of use to really see the difference. Right now, I can't give this over a 2. It may have made the hair less course in a few spots but it's not appreciable hair loss. It hasn't really changed her routine shaving at all. This is a fairly expensive device. She's going to go the full 12 weeks, but right now I would not recommend it.
