We use it for straight carbonated water, no flavorings. So much easier to replace a cartridge than having to bring home and store a case of water. No trash either, just trade in the cartridge. Cartridge cost about $17.00 with trade in.

I’ve used mine for two months now for about 70 bottles so far and haven’t had any issues so far. I reccomend purchasing the DWS version of extra bottles though (not sold at best buy), the standard ones warped in my dishwasher and are a pain to clean.

I mean the machine is used at least three times a day (lol). Surprise! The old one was fine it was just a faulty co2 container that was making it act wonky. Of course it stinks purchasing something when not needed but the newer version is sleak and i swear a little quieter.
