Soda Stream Carbonator

They always have NEW spare carbonators instead of refills. Double the price. If it is the Soda Stream vendor responsible for this then Best Buy needs to let them know.

Empty carbonator

At the store there were only 2 carbonators left and both packages looked somewhat beat-up, but since there were only 2 left, I bought it. Christmas came, he opened it, attached it to the sodastream and nothing came out. It was empty! When we looked back online, I realized that the carbonator didn't come with the plastic seal on it. It only had the white cap covering the opening. I figured I wouldn't have a problem with this product so I threw out the receipt. I knew if I returned an empty carbonator 4 weeks after purchasing it, they would think I just used it and was trying to get another carbonator for free. My guess is someone returned the carbonator empty and the employee accepted it and just put it back on the shelf without checking it...In the end, I went to a different store (not Best Buy) returned the empty carbonator and bought another one for the exchange price.
