I resisted buying my these after spending around $1000 for the Arlo Ultra 4 camera package. After about a year of constantly recharging batteries at increasingly more frequent but not consistent intervals, I decided to buy two of these $80 solar panel rechargers. They are simple to install with plenty of wire cord length and my cameras remain fully charged every day. Good purchase!

    Very Effective Solar Panel

Solar panel is connected to an Arlo Ultra camera and located where it receives direct sunlight in the afternoon. Even with several motion activated events, the panel is able to help the camera battery maintain a charge level near 100%. If you intend to mount a wireless camera outside, this is a good investment to make sure you do not need to remove the camera to charge the battery.

I bought 1 to test, and even though the Manuel says to charge your camera to full and then use it, i hooked it up at 36%.. with in 2 days I was at 100%.. been using it for about 2 weeks now, still so far so good.. I’m going to buy 3 more.

A Necessity for the Arlo Ultra/Pro3 Security Camer

If you have an Arlo Ultra/Pro3 security camera, this a necessity. Once it's mounted, the Arlo Ultra/Pro 3 Security Camera is fairly hard to take apart and take out the battery to recharge so this will enable the camera to remain charged at all times. Easy to connect via magnetic mount but needs to have access to sunlight to recharge the camera.

Placed this panel in direct sunlight, facing south, and it has done a fantastic job keeping my wireless Arlo 4 camera fully charged. I will have to see how it performs as the sun arc changes seasonally, but I don't anticipate any issues. Just remember it needs direct sunlight to function best, and I am lucky I have no obstructions.

Good option for keeping my outdoor cameras running

I bought these for my my two outdoor Arlo Pro 3 cameras. They were easy to setup and keep my cameras charged all the time. I don't have to worry about taking the batteries out and recharging them manually, or worse, taking the cameras down so that they can be plugged into a charging cable in the house since I don't have a standalone battery charger.

overall very easy to install. Had to charge the camera battery before the panel would take over. So far has been very effective solution for true wireless installation. I wish that Arlo would make a better ball and arm mount as it feels a bit weak for both panel and camera, but hasn't failed yet. Hopefully time will prove me wrong on the arm mount.

Super easy setup. Charges perfectly and keeps me from having to get on a ladder once a month. Highly recommend to anyone that owns Arlo cameras and doesn’t want to take them down to charge. Keep in mind there are different solar panels for the ultra cameras because they have different charging ports.

Easy to install and connect to the camera. Right now it is summer with plenty of sun, the camera battery is charged to 100% every afternoon at about 4pm. It will go down in the evening and next morning then back to 100% again in the afternoon. So no need to worry about charging the battery.

I have 3 of these panels & haven’t ever had an issue. They’re not under any cover at all & have been hailed on many times, been in strong winds, snow, & heavy storms. On really cloudy or stormy days it might not charge much but I’ve had several days of little to no sunshine & all it takes is 1-2 days to charge them back up to 100%. I also have a heavy amount of motion on my cameras so they go off over 100x a day.

I purchased this item to use with my Arlo ultra security cameras. Very satisfied with their performance and haven’t had any issues with them thus far. Really like that I don’t have to worry about taking cameras down to charge them periodically as this has been doing a great job of maintaining the battery life consistently high.

I have an Arlo surveillance system, and found that I had to charge up the batteries on average every few days to a week. So I would use an extra camera to charge with, rather than buy a charger. I then purchased this item; a solar powered battery charger, and haven’t had to look back or charge an Arlo camera battery since! This item makes the whole system convenient, and self-operating. I no longer have to climb up and remove/reinstall batteries or check them frequently to see what their charge levels are at. Even when the batteries go down, they charge right back to near 100% the next day on a sunny day. I was so impressed I bought additional chargers, and now I don’t need to, and haven’t had to charge any of the cameras at all. This product is worth every penny in the time it saves and convenience.

I bought these when they first came out, and I live in FL. We do get plenty of flash showers so that may be the cause, but within a few months one of the solar panels no longer worked. Fortunately I had purchased geek squad and got a new one, but the are $90 a pop. I love not having to climb up the ladder and unscrew my Arlo ultra cameras from the house to charge inside for a few hours to go have to put them back up. There is rust after a few rains on the charging metal pieces. 3 of the 4 I bought still work with the rust. One went out and I replaced it with this new one.

I tried to go with a cheap knock off for a couple weeks, but it was TERRIBLE. I decided to try the made for Arlo solar panel and its been a dream. I put it up and haven't had a single issue with it for several weeks now. Worth the extra cost and am planning on getting another one for my other outdoor camera.

I bought 2 of these panels on two separate occasions (total 4) These panels are awesome. They keep the batteries charged to 100%. The panels and mounts are very easy to work with and install. I recommend these to anyone who buys the Arlo Pro and Ultra cameras,

Works Great with Arlo Pro 3 Camera's

We bought the Arlo Pro 3 Security Camera's which works great but the battery life on them is horrible. So we bought the solar panels so that we don't ever have to take the camera's down to charge the battery. The solar panels work great as long as you place them in an area that gets lots of sun. It saves a tremendous amount of time having to keep charging batteries. Since we put up the solar panels they stay charge 100% most of the time and we can now use the 4K video and not have to worry about draining the battery. Super easy to hook up and use. Would strongly recommend the solar panels.

This was my 2nd one of these to buy. I have an arlo untra set. One of the cameras is of a busy area and was having to charge the battery monthly. I picked up one of these, hoping it could stretch my having to charge to every couple months. I have been surprised that in 6 months I haven’t had to charge and its keeps the camera between 90 and 100 percent, even with all the activity. My other camera is in a not so busy area and I was getting 3 plus months out of a battery. But since Ive had such good experience, I decided to pick up a 2nd solar panel. Installed this yesterday. Battery was at 45%. By dark, the battery was at 58%. I like the security of knowing unless I have a battery failure, I wont have to change batteries any time soon.

What a great way to keep my Arlo powered up! I wanted to put in a Arlo Camera high on the roof without having to take it down to recharge it and this solar panel works perfectly. If it was more affordable I would’ve gotten more than one. Wish it came in a color other than white

No more charging batteries! Especially difficult when the cameras were set up high. With these, I don't have to worry. Even with very heavy use, the batteries have never gone below 95%. Easy to install, a no brainer for those who want to save time.

I have several outside arlo security cameras. They are way up on the house. I purchased the solar panels as they keep the cameras charged. I don’t have to be climbing up on a ladder to change out batteries. So far they have worked very good.
