But at night obviously it doesn’t charge the camera, which in the case of having the Arlo CVR plan, the camera has to be powered all the time. So the CVR doesn’t work at night rendering it halfway useless. But if you don’t have CVR plan, it works great.

Thanks for sharing your feedback about the Arlo Solar Panel. We want to mention that CVR feature will not work by using a solar panel. It requires the camera to be plugged in directly to AC power as mentioned here : https://kb.arlo.com/1018425.

Thought it would recharge the camera but it only prolongs the % of charged that is on the camera. You will have to recharge the camera first before hooking it up to the solar panel. small device so doesn't really fully recharge.
